DC: Aashka is ready to exit

Her bold character of a rich married woman who has 'happiness arrangement' with a younger man in Shubh Vivah will not last long.

Though earlier Aashka had claimed that her role is not a cameo, she now admits that it is actually supposed to last only three months.

"I have a contract for only three months and I don't think I will stay beyond my contract because as I understand, the character has no place in the story after my husband returns from Gulf and Amrit (Eijaz Khan) gets married to Saroj. But the character just won't fade away.

A lot of drama will happen and the reason behind her extra-marital affair will be provided before Sarla goes out of the show," she explains.

Aashka feels she has done a good job and her character has not been perceived as negative. "I think the distinction between positive, negative and grey is slowly fading.

Audience is growing and they see every character in a particular context without attaching too much value judgment," feels Aashka.
