this is jx sooo lame, somebody should jail all those people, don't they knw dowry is illegal n unlawful?? besides, no girl likes to even wear a used shoe, then having a used guy as one's husband is unacceptable; n u guys r rediculous to hav portrayed this, n shown the guy as one of the protagonists.
Acting: well ejaaz, his siter, all 5 sisters, n the dad are doing a fairly good job here, but amrit's brother's character, despite of being a gr8 chivalrous person, is not well portrayed by the actor, i don't think the guy can even act.
however, i think tht this kind of dramas will only lead our society toward ignorance, n inspire the boys to be more like amrit; although, amrit is only doing it for money to feed his family, they won't understand the deepness. n anyways, doing illicit thingy to feed the family doesn't make it any moral; mazaa tou tb hai jb mehnat kare banda, phir ek niwalah bhi better hee hoga, aur karne waale ko bhi khushi milegi; i knw bari bari baatein krna aasan hai, but still i'd stick to ma words

hey good to see member speak out here
and coming to your post well i somewhat disagree with you

this is jx sooo lame, somebody should jail all those people, don't they knw dowry is illegal n unlawful??
here i agree and dowry is really the very bad side of the country and though there are actions against it but still not everyone pay so much attention to it...mr.saxena's daughter was rejected thrice before so she is so much afraid and didn't wanted to get anything wrong so accepted...and i too am upset and shock with his decision...

besides, no girl likes to even wear a used shoe, then having a used guy as one's husband is unacceptable;
so true but they are not aware of the fact that amrit is having affair with sarla

n u guys r rediculous to hav portrayed this, n shown the guy as one of the protagonists.
this is not something ridiculous but something close to reality...we normally see boys who are pressurised due to their responsibilities to take such steps and this show is about one such guy

Acting: well ejaaz, his siter, all 5 sisters, n the dad are doing a fairly good job here, but amrit's brother's character, despite of being a gr8 chivalrous person, is not well portrayed by the actor, i don't think the guy can even act.
i again disagree here...i think the boy is doing really well in terms of acting...his sweetness drops from his innocent face which is the basic requirement of his character...and also his eyes are way expressive...

however, i think tht this kind of dramas will only lead our society toward ignorance, n inspire the boys to be more like amrit; although, amrit is only doing it for money to feed his family, they won't understand the deepness.
i believe the show is to give lesson to society to not do things like that...i am sure amrit's characterization soon will teach about the problems faced by such a person...and also parents will get aware before selecting groom for their daughters...and as u said it will mislead society so i will say that it depends on the mentality of people...a good mind will take it in a positive manner but we can't help with a bad mind...it depends whether u look the glass half full or half empty...

n anyways, doing illicit thingy to feed the family doesn't make it any moral; mazaa tou tb hai jb mehnat kare banda, phir ek niwalah bhi better hee hoga, aur karne waale ko bhi khushi milegi; i knw bari bari baatein krna aasan hai, but still i'd stick to ma words
u r saying very true but still its very rare these days...this is the bitter reality...

in every serial people only like good looking couples and prays them no matter what they are doing. which is really bad they should open yheir eyes and think what their favorey actor is doing is acceptable.

Completely agree with Roopal.
We see this in society already and to have this shown in a serial is giving these issues more awareness. A lot of times people just dismiss this or sweep this under the rug not wanting to talk about it. We have a whole bunch of hypocrites out there but the problem is no want wants to talk about it, we see it but don't really acknowledge it's full existence. Seeing it and showing the effects of it on all the different characters will broaden the minds of people as a lot of people might just know one side of story and they'll believe whatever they hear rather than analyzing both sides of the story.
I live in Vancouver, BC and even in overseas I do see this, it's so common here yet a lot of people don't want to admit it. It's a bit taboo to talk about so I'm glad that at least a serial is going to tackles these norms in society which we might all agree should no longer exist. It's illegal and its morally wrong but sadly it is still quite prevalent even overseas.

here i didn't mean the saxena family, i was commenting on the theme of the drama, n my direct target were the makers actually, who are very well aware of the plot

n u guys r rediculous to hav portrayed this, n shown the guy as one of the protagonists.

i completely agree wid u here, but doing this is not the only solution, n these guys are, instead of trying to stop it, glorifying it

Acting: well ejaaz, his siter, all 5 sisters, n the dad are doing a fairly good job here, but amrit's brother's character, despite of being a gr8 chivalrous person, is not well portrayed by the actor, i don't think the guy can even act.
i again disagree here...i think the boy is doing really well in terms of acting...his sweetness drops from his innocent face which is the basic requirement of his character...and also his eyes are way expressive...
again here i was not comenting on they guy's luks or expressions, i meant his dialogue dilivery, it seemed as if he is reading the news by the way he spoke in the first few episodes, but hex being improving lately; perhaps he was taking his time to open up

however, i think tht this kind of drama will only lead our society toward ignorance, n inspire the boys to be more like amrit; although, amrit is only doing it for money to feed his family, they won't understand the deepness.

and here i was really concerned about those seeing the glass half empty😊
n anyways, doing illicit thingy to feed the family doesn't make it any moral; mazaa tou tb hai jb mehnat kare banda, phir ek niwalah bhi better hee hoga, aur karne waale ko bhi khushi milegi; i knw bari bari baatein krna aasan hai, but still i'd stick to ma words

to ur surprise, im frm pakistan. haalaat boht kharab ho jate hain kabhi, but good people stick to their values; but yeah i agree good people are very rare these days, so here i kinda am wid u on this point; n plxxx don't hate me jx b'cz i mentioned Pakistan here, i am a patriotic person, but at the same time also respect other people n other nations, n no1 i personally knw in Pakistan hav any rancor against India n Indians, infact my ancestor are frm Nosaree, India (sub-continent earlier)

yeah, i think i'd hav to agree with the two of u on this, it's every where, be it India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or the US, i'm originally frm Pakistan, but hav been living in the US for past 2 yrs nw, i was 17 then; and yeah i have noticed tht people r the same no matter where u go, it's jx tht Americans don't showcase it, n Pakistani media can't hide it (i do not mean tht they should hide the reality, but namak mirch laga ke tarka daalke batana alag baat hai)
