If going by the south version of the story, then Karuna and Madan will actually be the sweetest couple. lol. They'd be the only couple who understand each other (especially from Madan's side...he will be a gem among all the son-in-laws). Karuna will be one lucky gal.

But when they do ask for Saroj instead of Karuna, Madan will go mad. I think though that he won't be around at the time this happens and the father will make the decision and he will come to know too late. Or maybe Karuna will try suicide or something after getting rejected again... maybe then to save her he will marry her.

I think Madan will end up marrying Karuna. As Saroj being the lead is gonna be marrying Amrit, then the only way that will happen is if Karuna gets married first and seeing Madan and Karuna today, i think if they were to actually be a couple they'd be very cute.
