He studied in Lady Perpetual Succor High School and Datta Meghe College. He did his Civil Engineering from Airoli. Acting happened to him by chance when Balaji discovered him. Before that he used to handle the family business which deals with shock absorbers. Now since acting takes up all of Eijaz's time, his father and brother handle the business.

Shubh Vivah (is his current show and playing the character Amirt Nigam - has slight grey shade to his character) - Amrit is the has a mother and two siblings – Vinod & Shikha. His father passed away when Amrit was very young and he saw his mother work hard to support them. So Amrit is quite possessive about his mother and cannot bear anyone causing trouble to her. On one occasion, he even slaps his own sister Shikha when she argues with Kaushalya. Amrit is intelligent and hard working with strong business acumen. But ironically, in spite of all his qualities, Amrit is also cursed with a fault. He never follows the straight path. In a layman's language Amrit can be described as someone with a strong negative streak. He cheats his own boss Sodhi who is really fond of him and treats him like his own son. Amrit is money minded also. He wants to have a business of his own to be in a position of grating all the happiness to his mother. Besides he also hates taking orders from others.

Neha Janpandit (date of birth) is April 19 1988

She is the new sensation in telly land. She has won millions hearts with her innocent and sweet look in her show 'Shraddha'. In short span of time, she has become a household name for her tremendous acting skills. Neha is a trained classical dancer with experience of 10 years.

Neha started her career as model and debuted with Sahara One's famous show 'Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki'. Her favourite Bollywood actors are Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. Kajol, Rani and Aishwariya are her favourite Bollywood actresses. She wants to be part of a periodic film.

Shubh Vivah (is her current show and she plays the character Saroj) - Saroj is the second daughter of Mr Saxena. She is tall, fair and very beautiful. Like Karuna, she has also witnessed her mother's death when she was very young. But unlike Karuna, she faced the situation with resolve and became the pillar of strength to her father who had broken down after her mother's death. Saroj happens to be an ambitious girl who excelled in her studies and wanted to be a doctor but after the death of her mother Saroj sacrificed all her dreams and ambitions for the sake of her family. She can't see tears in her father's eyes. She is very intelligent and very responsible and even helps her father tackle his accounts.
