Yuvraj Malhotra.
Last seen as a parallel lead in Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil, Yuvraj Malhotra who is best remembered for his roles in Betiyaan and Waaris has joined the cast of Shubh Vivah.
He plays Bansi, a poor and simple guy in love with protagonist Saroj (Neha Janpandit). Unfortunately Saroj gets married to Amrit who has an affair with another woman.
Yuvraj's role will add the love angle to the triangle. The actor says the character is positive and Bansi's simplicity and honesty interested him because he has never played such a role before.
In Betiyaan, for instance, he played a romantic hero, a spoilt brat in Jeete Hain Jiske Liye and a mama's boy in Waaris.
