The episode begins with Rani declaring her win to the priest. She talks about God, how he is nothing but a savior. She compares parents to God…absolutely right. That’s why there is a saying that God could not be everywhere and that’s why he made parents. She is so knowledgeable. Everything about the fake news getting circulated in social media platforms to the right things that need to be propagated was spot on. I loved Mahima’s acting here and of course Rani’s brains. When she asks about educating children and helping the poor, there was pain…pain that she was a poor girl and her childhood got destroyed in pulling strings to run her life…the pain that there are many people who need help but no one to offer. When she refers to the holy-scriptures, the priest’s face was worth seeing. Rani is a girl with street smartness and book smartness as well…she knows where to hit the arrow.
I loved Raja’s gesture when she was scare, how he reassures her with just a blink of his eyes. And of course the part where Rani apologies to Mota-Moti about her stance. She did not need to apologies though! Even through her sentences, I could sense her genuineness. And when she talks about relationship and the basis of it being love and respect, I was like you are telling the wrong people. They mean nothing to them and the love they are showering on you is so fake.
Asha does her signature step, to prove that her daughter-in-law is better. And then Rani helps Jharna out of that cloth for Ghat Bhandan. I like this part, how she already considers Jharna as her friend or maybe sister. They probably met only once or twice before yet Rani considers her as her relative. I loved it when Rani orders the dogs to be taken away…anyone could have order but why Rani? shows the future when she will hold the powers in the house.
Oh My God, how cute and romantic can RanJa be? One moment is a tense sense but immediately, they relieve everything just by their eyes. I totally loved this portion when they assure each other by just expressions. Raja’s smile was too good….
Finally the haldi ceremony starts. When haldi was being applied to RanJa they were not fussing about it…they were happy to be beside each other in this phase…happy to get closer to getting together forever. And Mehul and Jharna were behaving as though someone was trying to throw acid on them…with that irritated face. Also Asha was applying the haldi happily even though it was for the money, somewhere she was genuinely happy that her son is getting married. But Kirtida, her face was showing her state of mind, her sadness that RanJa getting married. Instead she should be happy that her son is marrying but no.
The whole sequence when Rani’s family apply the haldi was well done and really emotional. From Vrinda applying haldi and then blessing her and her eyes getting numb to Utsav pulling her nose and her father getting very emotional was really beautiful. The love for each other was projected out without much effort. For haldi itself they were getting so emotional…I wonder what will happen during bidaii.
Raja holds her and supports her. This is the scene of future when he will hold her when she is in a low phase and walk her though all the happiness. This shows his love for her in the form of care and concern.
Mota Papa is trying to convince Kirtida by talking about sweets…he knows that sweets do wonders with her but he forgot money! If Rani comes with money then Kirtida will lose her power, will lose her status and of course she will be taunted by Asha... And that’s what is going to happen….Gunwant sees the anger in her exploding as tantrums. What so ever we say about Mota-Moti plotting, again I will say they form a wonderful couple. RanJa can learn relationship goals and couple goals from them just in case needed (They already have plenty but still)
Mehul meanwhile announces that he is going to show some video. I am sure it is going to be that flop pre wedding shoot of his. I agree to Jharna, she herself tells that the video is horrible. From cycle falling to Mehul’s getup to him scratching his head to Jharna shocked to see this side of him to his sunglasses get stuck in her saree to her sneezing and falling of him and the last bit of them kissing. I hope Mehul has got what he wanted behind the flowers...my goodness what a funny video it was rather than a one filled with love and romance. It was hilarious to see this, shows the lack of love and coordination.
In the whole family, one people who were genuinely happy for Mehul and Jharna no matter how the shoot was was RanJa…Mota-Moti were busy on how to kick Rani out and other were disgusted probably and Jharna and Mehul themselves felt horrible seeing the video.
Everyone’s face was in shock when he announces that he wants to show their pre wedding video. Rani is scared that their video will not match to Mehul’s but Raja assures her…I just love him here. The video begins and it’s so beautiful, so much of love was there. There was romance. There was everything that was missing in Mehul’s and Jharna’ video. And mainly there was hard work and love which together made everything amazing. Every scene was unique, there was every element of love. Jhuta Khane se Pyaar Badta hai to I am your mirror to proper dance….Every scene had some meaning…nothing was useless. Sharing the candy floss showed the natue of relation, one of sharing and caring rather than mera tumhara, it will be humara. The drinks scene shows the inter tangled fate they will have now on…how tangled their life will be between themselves. The part where he wears the glasses so that she can dress up only reminded me of the normal promise taken during the sath phere that the husband will make sure he provides all the comfort with respect to dressing up to the wife, the same way he did it here. The ladder scene again was beautiful…I must interpret it this way, even when Raja reached heights in anything; his world will be at Rani’s level and vice versa. And the cycle can be and must be compared to Mehul’s and Jharna’s where she enjoyed the luxury of the swing while he worked hard and here they both spent time together even though the hardship of pedaling. This is another indicative of future where they will be together in hardships and tough times. Time and again they are proving the same. I don’t know what to say, the video was awesome. The ending was beautiful, them walking away, it shows that together they will walk the journey of life and the umbrella held by both symbolizes the shelter they will give to each other in this journey. Importantly it showed that love is not single sided, needs both to equally contribute for success….
They themselves are happy…super happy with the outcome of the video and the whole family are very happy. I loved Hitank’s dialogue here….zero investment and hundred percent returns. Asha is happy to show to Kirtida that her son has better partner and brains…while she is angry and upset.
Next is the practice for dance for the sangeet. Raja is teaching Rani when both are amazing dances, they even won a competition. But it was beautiful scene to watch again. He does his best to help her out but she is confused with the side…it’s a point well portrayed. Both dance together but unfortunately can’t coordinate. She tells him that if they dance in Lakad Bakka style then everyone will laugh at them. And Mr Raja doesn’t get the point…he is busy understanding what is Lakad Bakka. They could just do anything without even practicing….first time they did dandiya like that only. They could groove on a romantic number so easily…love will guide them either ways.
Meanwhile Mehul the demanded wants a entry by flying….i wish while do so he falls and breaks his bones. He needs to dance for sangeet on some Bollywood movie that he wants to enter by flying. And Hitank as usual Tumhare Dimag Mein Dhokla Bara Hai Kya? I love the fact that they use this Gujarati background very well. Again I loved Hitank’s plan or entry…come on your friends shoulder. Instead of thinking of making an entry with Jharna, he is busy with his entry. Seriously shows the quality of relation they share
Here, in the call Raja convinces Rani that they will do wonders…after all they are known for their dance. Very soon they will be known for their love also. Raja the smart guy is planning to help Vrinda so something special for Rani…isn’t Rani impressed enough already that you want to impress her more? Raja explains his plan and this is over heard by Kirtida. I like the dialogue here again Kal Sangeet Mein Rajuda ki saas kuch khaas karne wai hai toh main bhi Kirtida raaz chalu karungi.
Overall I loved the episode especially the shoot video of both the couples; one was funny and the other romantic. I am eagerly waiting for Kirtida’s plan to unveil and then flop.
