This doubt is still there in my mind. Kali maa is another form of Durga maa who is devi Parvati’s another form. Then how can Mahalakshmi be Kali
One more thing is she is not Bhadrakali, she is Chandi who killed a demon. Bhadrakali means shaant kali maa
Usually all forms of feminine goddesses are associated with Adi Shakthi, the supreme goddess who was said to have taken the forms of Parvati, Lakshmi and Saraswati for the good of the universe. So, any of these 3 goddesses can take any form of Adi Shakthi. Dasamahavidhya, the 10 forms of the mother goddesses includes forms of Saraswati and Lakshmi as well and not one of them can be singles out as a seperate goddess form. For example, Goddesses Tara can be considered a form of Saraswati (she is sometimes called blue or dark Saraswati) and has aspects of goddesses Lakshmi and Parvati as well.
It's gets even more interesting when the thought school of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Parvati being the masculine and Feminine forms of the same entity. This leads to a lot of confusion if looked at superficially but is very interesting when we delve deeper into the philosophies and concepts.
Also, Bhadhrakali is a ferocious form of Kali. She first appeared alongside Veerabhadhra to destroy Daksha's sacrifice after Sati immolated herself.
There's so much more but I can't think of them all now. Will elaborate more if needed, do let me know if you want to discuss further.
