I initially thought that Tulsidas Ramayan had the Uttar Ramayan we see in shows but not too sure about that. But I know for sure Adyatma Ramayana has the storyline we all see in series and movies today. The Uttar Kand for both Valmiki's and Kamban's Ramayan were written by others. If I remember right, Valmiki Ramayan mentions Ram lived a long happy life and performed many yagyas with his sons but doesn't mention Sita.

Hanumanji is very irritating in UK track. Even today he wanted his share of food when Sitaji prepared food for Ramji. He interrupts too much in their family matters. I wish they show more scenes with laxman, bharat, Ramji and their kids. Atleast show them eating food together and luv kush talking about their life in ashram.

Would love to hear your thoughts about the other versions. Bhavabhuti's play need a bit of patience to read but I suppose it is interesting. Ananda Ramayan was also an interesting one, especially due to Rama Gita. But it sounds more for later years than Tretha Yuga. Kamba Ramayanam follows mostly Valmiki Ramayan while it has an essense of Tulsidas' writing. There are some stark differences, for example, Bharat wasn't allowed to perform the last rites for Dasaratha since Dasaratha had renounced Kaikeyi and her son before his death. This Shathrugan is the one who sets fire to his father's pyre while Bharat assisted like a younger brother. He did join Rama while the latter performed the last rites after knowing of Dasaratha's passing. Kamban's writing is quite descriptive.

That would be a dream come true but sadly we have almost zero chance of getting to see something that happy.

The way this version is shown its better to show happy ending. Now what reason they will show for bhoomipravesh ? Better end the show in happy note without any illogical reasoning. They already changed the whole UK story here.

That's true. I would love a happy ending. I am craving some nice scenes in Ram's family even if it is a dream... It would be nice to see, original or not. They've deviated quite a lot anyway.

Ram charitramanas ends with coronation

For me Ramayan ends with Siya Ram becoming queen and King and ruled for many years. UK story, I will not believe as many versions have diff stories and cannot digest that Ramji could not have resolved the problem of people's rumors in a better way.
