I will try to just clear misunderstanding on sage Valmiki now😀....
Actually Valmiki ji is sage not poet,,,Rishi ko Raja ka darr nahi hota tha likhne time par...jo hua tha woh likhte the....woh to keh hi nahi rahe ki bhagwan ki kahani hai....woh apne samay ke mahan vyaktitva ki kahani likh rahe hai....jisme se do's and don'ts dono sikhne hai....Ramji ne kahe Katu vachan to kyu na likhe woh???To fir Sita ka Lakshman ko katu vachan and Lakshman ka Bharat par doubt, ahilya event aise bahut se incidents hai jinhe dilute kar dena chaahiye tha....par it's not abt Balck and white.....rakshaho ka galat part likhenge to sahi kuch ho to woh bhi batana hai .....same way protagonist side itna gungaan karte hai sahi decision and actions ka to agar koi galti yaa controversial part hai to woh bhi batana jaruri hai.... protagonist hai to galti batayenge hi nahi...yeh to bias hua na..... actually biased hum hai....bcz hum conditionally hamare bhagwan se do's sikhne ko ready hai.... don'ts accept nahi kar paate,it's our social upbringing.....tabhi to aajkal debates discussion ke scope and platforms kam hai....actually in epic,all of them r humans,,,best of best humans may do choices which seems wrong today or which r actually mistakes...to yahi reason hai ki Valmiki Ramayan and Vyasa Mahabharat most authentic raw, unfiltered versions hai itihaas ki drishti se.....ab sab poets ki tarah bhaktikavya hi likhenge to actual truth by virtue of events and situations kaise samaj aayega....it's not abt devotion,,,it's abt characters and situations and reactions which may be rightor wrong on any part be it protagonist or antagonist....krishna therefore says in Geeta after imparting all knowledge to Arjun ki sahi Lage tumhari mati ko to mano...mein keh raha hu bhagwan keh rahe hai isliye nahi manna hai....To Ramji ne kahe hai kathor vachan to whitewash nahi kar sakte.....jaise Raavan ko whitewash karne ki koshish sahi nahi hai....waise hi protagonist characters ke controversial events tone down nahi kar sakte actual book mein just for sake of feelings bcz that is piece of History which will teach next generations....so reshi ko chinta nahi hai kiski kya impression banegi....woh jo darshan Kiya woh batate hai....Hume samajna hai ki kya sahi,kya galat,kya sahi hoke bhi irrelevant in today's time etc etc...
Agni Pariksha is not at all accepted by anyone,even Gods scolded that part when they appeared to stop siya maa when she was just abt to enter pyre to say she was chaste....serial makers show literal wali Agnipariksha but literally nahi hua tha...maa was confident enough of her chastity so she was ready to enter and moment she was abt to enter,all gods came screaming and stopped her ki there is no need....though I am also not supporting Agnipariksha,,we can understand ShriRam's point but can't agree with it as I feel example set karne ka chance tha...nahi maangte proof to new example set hota.... mushkil hota but waise bhi kya aasan tha unki story mein .....ek raja ke pass hi chance hota hai change laane ka...praja ko sikhane ka kaam bhi to Raha ka hai....but just my pov,pata nahi us time ki need kya hogi.... Agnipariksha is sad and disappointing matter always.

though I've read VR and over the years come to terms with slightly accepting what was done and why .. I don't think I can explain it to someone. One part of me remains conflicted.
