Honestly speaking he was the bravest and sanest in Lanka, dare I say, more than Ravan. Acting aside, I hope they're able to give him the credit where it's due than show him like he's out of his mind.

Actually yes he has redemption arc in end where his biggest weapon fail to attack lakshman and meghu accepts that these r not normal humans

And he goes to tell his dad ki sudhar jao

But meghu is killed finally and ramji respectfully covers his body and return to Lanka

Till now meghu is not shown stupid as his dad
