I have a soft corner for Arjun and Kanhaji has always been my favourite but again that author writes about him as a statesman and king maker and doesn't mention divinity at all.

So far they have been very careful to stick to Valmiki Ramayan and Ram Charit Manas. I think they know they cannot mess with the authenticity of Ramji's story.

I know everyone criticises Prachi for her acting but to me the actor playing Dasrath has hammed the most in the last 2 weeks.

P.S. during Covid I read a lot of books on Ramayan and Mahabharat/ Krishna as I was really intrigued by these epics.

In case anyone is interested, the books I have read are:

1. Ramayan: A Modern retelling of the great Indian epic.

2. Sita

3. Life of Rama: based on Valmiki's Ramayan and the earliest oral traditions

4. Forest of enchantment

5. The Ram Chandra Series.

6. Ramayan series.

Prachi's vanvas getup is intolerable yaar. It's just so weird . The chudamani , flowers , and the artificial curls literally keeps reminding me of how the hairstylist would be doing her hair . It's neither complimenting her looks nor goes with the whole simplicity of vanvas scenario ...

saw Friday and today’s episodes. I absolutely loved today’s episode! They got the pacing just right and they had Mahadev-Parvati and Raavan as well. I LOVED the Ram-Sita and Lakshman moments

the kevat scene was so sweet and wholesome and I loved the song they had(heard it in the promo and it was so soothing! The music is truly one of the best parts of the show!)

1. Dasrath body bring preserved waiting for Bharat & Shatrughan; Ayodhya wallas turning their face or walking away; Bharat disowning Kaikeyi; Shteughan punishing Mantra;

2. Janak coming to Ayodhya and Bharat going to get Ramji.

3. In between all this Ramji/Sita/Lakshman setting up home in Chitrakoot.

4. Bharat arriving with the news and then crying and asking forgiveness and debate on if Ramji should return.

5. Bharat taking the paduka back and saying Ramji can't be even a day late. And then setting up place in Nandigram.

6. The pretty forest dwellers making friends with Sita.

7. Meeting Anusuya and she giving pretty ornaments to Sita.

8. The rishi who waited for eons for Ramji and even refusing to go with Indra until he meets Ramji.

9. Other forest creatures who they will meet liek that cursed danav who is in the shape of a tree.

10. Meeting Jataayu.

Many such incidents....if you really think all this will happen in 40 episodes then I don't know what to say.

Sabri maata ka bhi dikhayenge

I am happy with whatever they show … so far they have done great job

I trust Future also they will do great

I want to focus on dialogues whether it’s through body language or verbal, whether from any character

And try to understand and apply those virtues

I am awestruck with humility, sacrifice and karuna of Ramji

The respect Ramji has for everyone .. his vision of seeing everyone equal and with utmost importance is so pure

He is so careful of not letting his well wisher get into trap of moh and bhavna for him

Kaushalya and Sumitramaata’s selfless love for all sons and power to forgive and be big hearted

Dasrathji life is like alert for us to not get into flow of only one person in life, karmas always get back to us, moh is dangerous

coming to the episodes, kevath's talks of converting a stone into a woman was hysterical lol.. 😂 🤣 ..

nice moments...prachi can do bit better but she's not that bad tbh..just the fatigue expression was bit overdone by her..sujay did his bit well as usual..

Laxman-rama bonding was nice moment & lakshman doing his seva to be with his brother was sweet....probably the highlight of the episode..i hope his grudge against bharata is lessened though..

ravana scenes looked bit cartoonish and extra to me...meghnad overdoes his role..nikitin is giving off the sinister expression of ravana but even he looks bit off in terms of expression like he's just awoken or something in his role no offense..

and agreed about Meghnad he overdid it but I felt that it was fine in showing us the Adharm route they’re taking!
