It is not love per say.
There is a kind of mutual attraction, more on Raj's side than Manmeet's.
He us attracted to Manmeet and has become too used to playing her family. After returning she cut him off her life and that affects him a lot. He is unable to unsweetened why he feels so bad and Manmeet seeing the need flags clearly asked him if he loved her.
That's it.
In fact, Raj got himself engaged out of petulance and now is stuck in his own mess that he will multiply by opening his big mouth and calling Anmol his son.

Thank you for answering that. I was curious as well confused seeing the promos of them talking of love so soon .Last I saw, they were complete strangers who didn't like each other , were not even friends but forced into a mess of faking marriage. I was expecting a slow burn as both characters seemed to have a lot of layers that would take time to get unraveled .
Damn Raj got engaged to that bua-zoned girl 😂
I actually loved the initial two episodes and my expectations from the show skyrocketed but then I lost interest after the suicide drama . Plus many a times the comedy part felt too exaggerated and repetitive that I started getting bored and stopped watching .
But seeing the beautiful write ups in the forum , feel tempted to catch up ..
The show became more funny and interesting when the fake couple drama started.
