Let's relive SAAKK Season 1 together from the beginning, as we manifest a Season 2 together!

Two points that stood out for me. Bebo is a mini BM whilst Kitty is a mini Alok.

I agree with everything Anokhi said today about the ragging and how her words are not being taken seriously as she is accusing people from the Sabherwal circle. I fully support her stand of going public because these spoilt brat if not punished can do worse.next time. If I am nor mistaken she herself went all mahaan later on and asked only for written apology.

It was incredible how the Sabherwal finally after some serious reflection concludes that this is all because of Aastha. In credible how their minds work. Shaurya disappoints me again today with his anti Aasths jaap and refusing to see reason and be objective. He fails as a professor here and is just a Sabherwal protect their assets.

Good that Gaytri is keeping an eye on the twins and was even sarcastic with them.

The way the makers showed the Bhatia family and their discussion about the rich like Shaan would nor fight for Anokhi and on next front we see Shaan requesting for a proper enquiry as he promised Anokhi.

Two days

Unfortunately the bomb was out next day.

Alok was all anxious in case Anokhi blurts out the Sabherwal name.Tej needed to make his comment and of course Shaurya was in Aastha anger mode.

He has short term memory loss and seems to have forgotten how and where he found Anokhi.

Let's wait and watch...

Anokhi’s disappointment in the committee is understandable. After all, Tej who claimed that they had strict policies in place for ragging left the culprits with just a mere warning. Anokhi had Shaan’s support from day 1 and this was the only reason why his assurance had some value and she gave in to his request.

Babli has faith in Shaan and the support he extended on the day of ragging made her belief in him stronger. Vineet and Mrs Bhatia represent the majority who think that Shaan being a Sabherwal would never go against his own family for the sake of Anokhi. Shaan standing up for Anokhi but not for Astha doesn’t surprise me much. He is a good person by nature but a weak emotional person in case of relationships. When it was Astha, had he supported her he would’ve had to forego his family where as in the case of Anokhi he knows he wouldn’t be in that position. Is that the reason why? Mrs Bhatia represents a typical lady of that generation who thinks In these situations it is yhe girls who will be subjected to humiliation in their fight to get justice.

Anokhi stands firm on her ground and says what a true responsible girl would think. The culprits should get their due irrespective of who they are. What if the same thing happens to another girl and if this time it’s worse. Our society doesn’t have many Anokhis but even one can make a difference. Arey Vineet what kind of a lawyer you are? Don’t you know the law that a girls statement is accepted by the court? How conveniently he forgets the law and warns her going against influential people?

Okay, late to the partyyyy as really caught up with adult word stuff :(

1. Anokki was 100000% justifies in going to the cops/press. What even? What did Sabs think? They would brush it under the rug and it would work. Also, no Saberwaal should have been on the committee as most people pointed out.

2. Bhatiya's are pure reflection of the society. They typical attitude stating that Anokhi would be blamed, come what may. Breaking her confidence in Shaan and herself. Urghhhh

3. Loved Babli, WHEN SHE STATES that the fight is about standing up against entitlement. Its about the right principles.

4. The saberwal house was a circus today. Alok was being stupid and devi was being sly. I hate that Devi also pits shaurya against shaan and the family. Also, for a family that hates aastha and does not want anything to do whith her, they sure are obsessed with her. Also, this is the 2nd time betty have indirectly used aastha to rile up shaurya and shift focus from them.
5. Shaurya is unstable. In his loyalty and his anger towards his mother. He has become what the promos made him.

6. Loved the reaction of everyone towards the media. I was laughing on the reactions. Brings out the core of a person and their actual concern. Alok - freaked, Devi - scared, Aastha - worried for anokhi, shaurya - misunderstanding and angry, Bhallas - izzat, Bhatiyas - gossip/izzat/and BS!

7. For a 19-20 yo girl, Anokhi and the scene with media was pretty well done. She was scared and calm at the same time.

8. the rama- anokhi sleeping scene...i had missed it earlier but it was adorable. A contrast to everything shaurya has. I often feel so. Anokhi does not have the riches nor the support of her family but she has her mother, shaurya on the other hand has everything but lacks a mother's love!

Onto the episode that continued to piss me off!

The fact that even after Reema's testimony, the Sabeherwals continue to act like no ragging occurred made me rage! The twins had the audacity to complain about a warning and whatever beizzati they felt. Rich spoiled brats to the core! Tej complained about having to investigate. It's not appropriate to question your blood relatives(even when they're wrong?). How ludicrous that they stood around and talked about Aastha's saazish to take down the Sabherwals and to extort money? She waits 25 years for a badla? Thankfully Shaan points out the fault in their logic. But of course this narrative feeds into what Shaurya thinks of his mother, so he sees it as Aastha(an outsider) putting pressure on Shaan. Of course the twins are scared so they continue their plotting. Gayatri had so much scope in the beginning.

Adding to my rage was the Bhatias. Vineet doesn't think Anokhi has credibility because she left her forced wedding? What kind of logic is that? Mrs. Bhatia did make a salient point that no matter what a girl says 'samaaj will prove you wrong'. But our Anokhi wants her insaaf. As she says, the questions to a girl is not to prove her begunnah but to beizzat the girl. She's so righteous that she doesn't want something worse to happen to a girl in the future due to Anmol getting off scot free. This part made me mad because at the end she does let Anmol go, not to negatively affect his future with these allegations.

~ Rama and Anokhi's "mere ghar aayi ek nanni pari" 😭

~ The press hounds Anokhi. I liked the slow wave in which everyone found out. Sabherwals....Shaan....Bhatias....Shaurya....Bhallas! So many unnecessary dramatic reactions at the end though.

Shaan’s approach of handling the problem by requesting Anokhi didn’t go well with Tej but why? When he can’t remember the strict policies that were in place how can he expect Anokhi to react? Does he think that just because he has power he’s given the sole right to dismiss a case?

Bm has her own way of twisting things and playing it against Astha at the very opportunity. What’s with Ss’s change of reaction at the very moment Astha’s name is heard? Did the Sabherwal’s forget that the main point of discussion was ragging and not Astha? Tej was good enough that he put a stop to the nonsensical discussion which wasn’t going anywhere to being productive.

Keeping the farce of an investigation committee aside, 🤪🤦🏻‍♀️, I agree that Gayatri had much more role to play in the beginning. I just wish they didn’t reduce all the characters down to standing in the sidelines in the drawing room 🙄

I was so mad at Anokhi Mahaan Bhalla for letting those brats go scot free. If not suspension , they should’ve faced some other consequence atleast.🙄

We only got a few glimpses of Shaurya’s “I-don’t -care-but-I-actually-do-care” attitude , from now on it’s sorta more pronounced and recurring.😁
