The episode today is too painful to watch where Shaurya is concerned.

I am emotionally highstrung after watching it.

Seeing the way Anokhi has to pay for her stay at her sister's place is an irony. At the end of the day Babli is paraya for her parents and her in laws house is not hers... Babli is in no man's land.

Bari maa is the best villain. The more I watch her, the more I admire how she is convinced in everything she says and does. She has class as a villain.

Still I can only picture Shaurya today and his pain is imprinted in my mind. I should not be so involved in this serial.

How I am appreciating SAAKK more now...!!

What you said about Babli is so sad and so true for many women. Not considered part of the sasuraal and can’t go back to your maayka.

Devi has been lying for so long that she believes her own lies. I guess that’s the sign of a true villain. They’re the hero and victim of their own story!

I’m so glad we’re able to really appreciate SAAKK in this rewatch. I’m glad y’all are as committed to this as I am. The Shaurya scene is one of my favorites to rewatch again and again. It never disappoints in making me feel.

Anokhi is a true reflection of Astha in most ways. The way she kept herself calm and replied back to her jiju and made a valid legal point that the bangles are her sister’s property reminds me of Astha.

Among the whole heartless Bhatia clan I only find Mr Bhatia a little bit on the softer side. In this episode he cares about Izzat in society but somewhere in other episodes he shows a soft corner for Babli and Anokhi. The thing is Mrs Bhatia has a upper hand over him and so his goodness is swept away and no where to be seen.

Anokhi has such a positive outlook as Shaan mentions in the interview episode. She is happy that at least she has some shelter though it is a store room. Inspite of all struggles she has gone through she achieved what she dreamt that made her look at positive side of things with hope rather than crib for what she doesn’t have.

Kv was brilliant in the scene where he is all lost thinking about how his mother who never cared for him fought for some stranger. However hurt he was, he found solace and a sense of contentment after seeing the mother son duo. His feelings of hurt seem to be replaced by happiness that he was able to bring some joy for atleast the moment.

Perhaps it was his version of Apnapan towards his Bhabhi 🤪🤪🤣( chappal mat maro😁) )

Beautifully written Anju! This scene was one was where we got to witness Shaurya’s vulnerable side. I must say that in these initial episodes they really nailed it in the editing department especially with the overlay of Anokhi’s and Shaurya’s scenes. We truly empathized with SS in this scene. KV was amazing here, as the rich son who seemingly had everything in this life yet nobody to call his own. He felt unbearably sad and discarded. We get a glimpse of a similar angry/Sad/lost SS when Anokhi reveals about Tej blackmailing her.

It really pains me that we still have these gender based notions on emotions. Boys/Men are supposed to be strong, they shouldn’t cry. 🙄🤷‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Dee, can you please come back to IF actively? It's just not the same without you and lavs commenting. It's just feels like everyone's moved on!

Y'know I found that Alok and Aastha scene funny because Aastha said she wasn't his rishtedaar; not sure if it was for Anokhi's benefit or not. But Aastha is his bhabhi, so I was taken back that she lied about it. Also, I enjoyed her yelling at him so I ignored it. I like when Alok is shut down with that level of savagery.

Yes, the angry lost Shaurya that shows up again when he's abandoned by Anokhi and deceived by Tejvi.
