I've watched too many videos just on Shaurya's walk. My favorite is after the molestation truth comes out and he just collects his phone and walks by Anokhi. SO MUCH ATTITUDE!!

That is my favourite walk scene ever! Oh god! Anokhi was floored and so were we! I honestly thought she was in love! Her expression at that moment!

In that moment, you could clearly see, this slight infatuation starting. She was in awe. Clear awe.Like this young girl and this older guy with this righteous attitude who is a little bit of an A** too..

I can go on and on about that scene!

I think after saving her from the locked classroom and then helping her get Anmol's confession, Shaurya reached savior status. After having the men in her life not support her and downright abusive towards her, I think Shaan and Shaurya were the only trustworthy men in her life. So I saw the awe. I'm not sure about infatuation. It feels too early for me. But I think she trusted Shaurya and that was a great beginning.

Do go on about that scene. One of the scenes I fawn over is the upcoming scene in episode 37 I think where Shaurya helps that mom and boy. Wait until we get there. I will probably write essays this time around too!!

Rama ready to leave the house clarifies that she is leaving on her own will and not being thrown out. She stands firm

And states facts about how she worked like a servant through out and her opinions never mattered. Mr Bhalla … does he know what love is? What loving your family means? It’s a definite no as he only knows to overpower like a typical tyrant and look down upon women like a misogynist. His character is neither redeemable nor pardonable on any Basis.

She prophesizes that her Nikki is very capable and that day will soon come when she achieves her dreams. I’m sure Senior and junior Bhalla’s heads will hang in shame the day Nikki will prove herself. Both Rama and Mr Bhalla witnessed their daughter’s achievements from the very beginning but Mr Bhalla is so egoistic that he can’t accept a daughter to be more worthy than his son. Anokhi’s dialogue that a mother should stand for her children along with Mintys revelation worked wonders and the true mother in her is seen.

Biji shows her true selfish self as she is very well aware that her daughter in law is the only one who will look after her. It’s a shame that after birthing two sons a mother still is dependent on her d- in laws. Is it also not a sons responsibility that he can take care of parents not just financially but morally and physically?

Rama and Babli seem to really have taken inspiration from Anokhi that you should fight and not give up. Babli gathers enough courage and confidence and decides to deal with her situations at her own pace. She knows that Nikki is very good with this but Babli atleast decides to give it a try. A true inspiration Anokhi is.

It’s always overwhelming to see a conversation between Anokhi Rama and Babli. Hoped to see these three together in Chandigarh without redeeming Mr Bhalla. Let us hope to see this in s2.

Anokhi entering SiAc is shown as if she is entering her dream world and she is awestruck and the song is so apt. Her eyes moisten up at the very thought of her being a part of it. It is a very sacred place to her as she values education the most.

What was that walk and those looks? Can’t get it away from my head. That black and grey combo added to his killer looks. When he first saw her his anger seemed to have lost from his face and looked a bit surprised. the bg music made the scene awesome. There was a sort of spark in his face and innocent confused look in Anokhi’s. These two in one frame have chemistry oozing❤️

Ha ha… I loved the scene where Ravi lightens up a serious situation for us by innocently saying that he doesn’t need extra money as they they have farms in their village… how cute and innocent was that. I adore these kinda scenes where a little comic relief is added to an otherwise very serious scene. Especially he dared to say that knowing how angry Ss was.

True! Rama, whenever she spoke she always spoke sense. I miss this Rama Bhalla in the later episodes

In future, when Anokhi will achieve her dreams... Ramesh and Raja will only have jealousy and regret as companions.

Such egoistic people don't really accept fault and neither do they give in.

Yes! The misogyny entwined with the superiority complex is so deep rooted in them, that their egos will not allow them to accept it. I wanted to see Raja being punished fir his crimes and Mr. Bhalla to deeply regret having lost the love and respect of two daughters over one worthless son.

She stated facts and shut her husband up. Even Biji ran after her because Biji knows that her son and grandson won't take care of her. Why do women fawn over their sons knowing the reality? A man who treats his wife and daughters like shit doesn't have any real respect for his mother either. I wanted Rama to speak up against Biji and truly leave.

I wanted Rama to leave as well. But I knew she would come back. It’s conditioning and it’s also not easy! And that mazdoori taunt was so on point. I loved that she stated facts without mincing words. Women like Biji consider themselves superior to women like Rama, coz they produced sons instead of daughters. She has never been subjected to taunts and humiliation like Rama has, so she has no empathy for Rama. Only selfish needs.

The entire Anokhi entering SIAC for the first time sequence was great. The wonder in her eyes when she looked around. Shaan, Pandey, and Ravi coming through for her. Shaurya's watch was still on her hand as well. Mata rani was watching over her as 'Ek Zindagi' played. And the lyrics were so apt! And the awe with which she stared and traversed the library and even mooned over the books. She voluntarily read books and magazines. These choti choti khushiyaan.

It was such a feel good sequence, especially after everything she endured in the past few episodes, it was so good to see her happy. The way she was taking everything in and her joy was beautiful to watch. Anokhi is me, with her reaction to the library!! My eyes lit up exactly like her when I enter library/bookstore. N the song, is such a happy song!! 😍😍

Shakhi scene will continue in the next episode so will fangirl over that then. Just want to mention that Shaurya's walk is slow motion and stan worthy! There's a reason that the fandom drools over it. Shaurya's anger encountering Anokhi's sweet face . Official ShaKhi meet cute! How many "meetings" have they had now?

Shaurya in that turtleneck sauntering with swag and attitude is one of the highlights!! You are right, no wonder the fandom drools over him.

And sigh! Their first official meeting.

Side note:

~ It was nice to see Babli take on some of Anokhi and Rama's strength with her. This is why women supporting women raises up the gender in times of necessity.

Exactly! I really wish we didn’t have to reiterate why women need to stand with women, not against them.

~ In the library, we get a peek of Shastha's name carved on the shelf. These two always looked out over Anokhi.

Precap: ShaKhi confrontation!! Can't wait!

Main to badalon se tur jaungi

Main to apna he sur paungi

Hain jo crazy crazy sapne mere

Saare chunn ke main bunn aaungi

Haan maana iss duniya ki

Hoon hi nahi main

Apni he duniya banaungi

Ke ek zindagi meri sau khwahishan

Main poori, main poori, main poori karaan

Ek zindagi meri sau khwahishan

Main jeena, main jeena, main poori tarah

Sabki rok hai, tok hai, nok hai, jhok hai

Par dil mein phir bhi hope hai

Hai na!

Life thodi hard hai

Andekhe card hain

Par hum bhi to star hain

Hain na!

Haan maana is duniya ki

Hoon hi nahi main

Apni he duniya banaungi ho

Ek zindagi meri sau khwahishan

Main jeena, main jeena, main poori tarah

Love this song!! 😍😍

Me in purple!! 😊

The value of a wife, daughter, dil, mother is felt when she is not there anymore.

Today Biji asked Rama to not leave her house when all these years she treated her like trash. All this is just pure selfishness on her part. It is good that Ramma told her off.

We also see the first ray of light in Rama life as she will no more be beaten, again only because Biji says so.

Ravi and Pandey are hilarious when Anokhi gets to stay in the library. One sentence that struck me was Pandey telling Anokhi that she really has connections in high places, Does this ring any bell?

The hope, the amazement of Anokhi could almost be touched the moment she set foot in SIAC. She could feel life coming in her.

Now for the cool dude Shaurya, well Ravi did say he is hot tempered and all, but we just experienced the firsts SIAC walk of Shaurya on the prowl.... Ufff

And finally that sweet flute music when Shaurya and Anokhi set eyes on each other, Hayyyyyy

@bold: You make such a good point. We see how Shaurya's words in the library is what is ingrained by the patriarchy. I heard it but didn't pay much attention to it. It's interesting how it's assumed that noone helps each other. A woman gets things done because of her connections or what she has to 'offer'. If not for the library incident, I probably would not take the line seriously. To let someone into a locked college at night to stay in its premises, especially the library which is unorthodox, then you must have some pull with a Sabherwal/owners. That would be a valid assumption.
