Was Shaurya really wrong to opt for Sindoor marriage? - Page 2

I think anokhi has made peace with the fact that she is indeed married now, as much as I would have wanted this track to run furthur and anokhi's acceptance coming gradually; but well I think it's fine I guess...idk mixed feelings lol; actually what makes it okay for me is that I somewhat understand anokhi's acceptance; shaurya is being really supportive of anokhi, he didn't for once questioned her ambitions (i know previous shaurya would have done that, so nice progress shaurya lol); and seeing his encouragement, she is probably wanting to give this relation its time, at the end she does love him so would have wanted to marry him at some point.

i think what makers are trying to show is that regardless of anokhi's acceptance (since she is in love and all that) , shaurya's action were very wrong and unjustifiable; he is still in his la la land where it is either my way or the highway but this isn't how it can always work; he needs to adjust specially in a relationship where another person's feelings are involved.

A wrong decision by shaurya to agree to not tell the truth to anokhi, gonna land him in big trouble plus its also wrong in general.

As much as I hate shagun, shaurya's friendship with shagun isn't bothering me as of now seeing the circumstances and thinking w/ shaurya's pov; what actually is bothersome is his double standards when it comes to ahir-anokhi (his reaction has gotten better but still not quite there yet)....

You know in all this I am feeling really sad for anokhi... firstly she is having to deal with the humiliation and on top of that another big heartbreak of hers is on its way... specially bcs she feels so hopeful of this marriage.

I think she is equally in her dreamland as shaurya; she wants love and career and seeing how shaurya is making quite some efforts to change, she can't help but expect more... reality is gonna strike hard to both of them.

This is how I viewed today's episode (for me a convo between leads go a long way to make gain some connect to the story😆)

But, I understand what you are saying; you aren't wrong; I am apprehensive of his friendship too, and kinda disppointed with the rushing of this secret marriage track; but lowkey excited as to how they are planning to go with this.

In real life yes he was wrong and anokhi would have never accepted it. But in reel life anokhi accepting it make his wrong a right. If he would not have done this then anokhi would have not confronted him. And acp ahir ka jo royal rejection hua wo kaise hota 😆.

Agreed with quite many points and I guess as makers theirs is very unidirectional show... They will focus on one issue of Shaurya at the time 😆 not him as character...

My problem is not exactly the friendship, but the fact he let's her get closer to him inspite of knowing her feelings for him. Inspite of knowing terrible things Shagun has done actually... On one side you show annoyance and you feel hyper with her... You are suddenly OK with being friends...

They are brining up this build so that double standards can be displayed with ShaSha vs. Anokhi Ahir I guess... Both Shagun and Ahir have romantic feelings for ShaKhi but the way Shaurya deals with it... And by end of next 2 weeks he will be done with jealousy issue...

Then bring in another issue... Then third fourth and so on... They are done with career issue😆

My issue is that when a person has jealousy in nature and possessiveness, it happens with anyone... Not just Ahir, but also some other people... And his anger towards Ahir is, in my opinion, valid! Absolutely fine... Because Ahir had feelings and he pursued Anokhi! So, first the kind of person he is, and second about Anokhi being friends with someone who has feelings for him will definitely blow him up.. But if it's nature it can be with anyone, even those Anokhi would meet during her career journey... Is that OK? He had issues with Ahir even before Ahir confessed...

They could have dealt with this issue much earlier during angry confession... When Anokhi saw ShaSha and all...

Coming to main topic... Looking at poll results even on this page it's clear that many people have started feeling Shaurya wasn't wrong and the only way to make his decision wrong would be when he regrets marrying Anokhi.. 😆

Coming to main topic... Looking at poll results even on this page it's clear that many people have started feeling Shaurya wasn't wrong and the only way to make his decision wrong would be when he regrets marrying Anokhi.. 😆

He doesn't know a lot abt shagun's deeds naa except like her trying to win him over and woh be today she apologised for, but he doesn't know the fact that this is all her plan or how she spiked anokhi's drink and other stuff.

But yeah, I did dislike the fact ki he invited her to stay in his house, but then from hid pov, they have spent a good chunk of years together and close so he must be thiniing itna toh he can do for his friend without thinking of anokhi's insecurities. isi liye I want to see where does shaurya exactly draw the line, uspe depend karega how I view the whole thing😆;

Yeah, I would be happy if they deal with the double standards after all its so apparent.

I think career issue is gonna go side by side, his thinking will gradually change, also he has a lot of patrirchal thoughts (library track was a result of that imo and the sindoor one too) so maybe they are dealing with them while keeping the career thing in background.

@bold: This is exactly why he this issue needs to be brought up in the limelight, he has shown unhealthy reaction in the past and he changed gradually for better but I think reflecting over his deeds and then having a talk with anokhi will be a good scene to show imo. Like this double standards of his should change like if he can be friends with his ex she can be friends with a guy who proposed but is okay with a no.

He might not know the whole thing, but he had started feeling guilty of hurting Shagun before she could talk properly... It's surprising he cannot see glimpses himself in Shagun🤣 when it comes to love... She has been crossing and touching lines since quite sometime...

He should not hide things like... As big as engagement... From Anokhi... No matter what! Even if it's broken...

I am not surprised by results of 50 viewers... Not judging them but message of forced marriage is clearly lost and Shaurya emerges as winner...like he said today...

He has got Anokhi now, who was about to leave him, he got back to badi maa and assured her broken promise just for their happiness... And for him life is back on track now😆

It was done in the heat of the moment. I don't want to say that it's wrong, because both Anokhi and Shaurya are ok with it now and have no regrets. Who are we to judge two people in love? For family it could be wrong, well I think in terms of Anokhi and Shaurya's perspective and for me its not wrong.

It's wrong because the intention was to 'claim & possess' Anokhi as his property

Anokhi accepting it doesnt mean the act itself was right....cause 5 leaps later she will be shown as separated and bitter and resent what Shaurya did (as many ITV show does). Also she is young & naive it seems & I don't think she fully gets the impact of being married into the Sauberwaul family

People don't need to get married to show their love for one another so I just find this sindoor drama silly...it looked like a copy & paste scene from some old movie

I quite understand anokhi's acceptance and pov due to the monologues they provided her w/. But, I still maintain that anokhi's acceptance doesn't make shaurya's actions correct. And, now this track is going to be very imp imo, as in how makers handle shaurya's ckt from here on.

He is wrong in most of his thought process in regards to current situation; his soch has changed alot but a lot is still left.

In yesterday's epi, he said ki I will try to become the husband you deserve (paraphrasing😆); since shaurya has accepted the fact that he isn't currently there yet makes me think makers probably are planning to expand on to this career, and his soch thing.

But, again keeping my hopes low and watching each episode without much expectations lol😆.

The reason that ppl are now okay with forced marriage, as you said is bcs she has accepted, and when the girl has accepted so what can anyone else do, which isn't wrong as per say, yet I am looking at it as not just the situation but shaurya's soch due to which he did, which I find problematic; and maybe they will show it (shaan said it to his face that his actions are not justifiable, so probably😆)

For him life is indeed back on track now, but I think a big storm is awaiting isi liye I am waiting for them to develop this track and see how shaurya's ckt takes a turn...
