I never saw their first meeting except in his flashback and as you said... He keeps remembering her with respect to their first meeting... He will remember her there, her smiling there and her happiness when she came to SIEC.

I remember Tej telling Shaurya : "tu usse kyu ulajhta hai itna, bolne dia kar usko, tu apni reputation dekh, you are the director and professor at SIAC, don't fall at her level" . But Shaurya never took the advice. She created havoc in his life since Day 1. He was always extra rude to her. He never was normal with her.

The attraction definitely started post V Day and car scene. Infact that whole sequence made them physcially aware of each other, but they were comfortable with each other's touch.

But the main reason why he fell for her was because she was hitting all the right chords emotionally . I remember a scene where he was staring at Anokhi from a distance, when she was talking something and was mentioning Astha. He never says it aloud, but Anokhi paints a very different picture of his mother infront of him.

It is her constant hammering that made him apologise to Astha. Otherwise, he would have just helped Shaan find her and then never see Astha's face. She just says the right things upfront with no fear.

She's not always right. But she is the only one who can call out his crap. And she does this with a certain amount of "haqq". She pushes him to a stage where he is forced to rethink his actions.

He had dated Shagun, but even when he is wrong , he was never pushed to rethink.

Hence , he got attached to her emotionally. Post riots he just felt like he needed her in his life. He would have saved any girl or any student , but she was special at that stage.

If you ask me, she broke through his walls very easily making him accept his anger issues, his flaws and also see Astha in a different light. Now a days , he isn't all "angry young man" on Astha. He's not on talking terms, but he is okay with her presence. All of this was possible because of Anokhi.

For now also , he is just super-attcahed to her emotionally. They are both physically attracted, but the emotional bonding is what pulls him towards her.

@bold: Absolutely. The emotional attachment is too strong even when he fails to admit it.

He has always been himself in her presence. FROM DAY ONE!!!

Who else has seen his bitterness? Who knows the nature of his anger apart from her?

NOBODY!! Astha might get it, but she is still unknown to most of it. She has seen the hatred but she does not know what is beneath that anger.

Shaurya feels free to express his anger and suffocation infront of Anokhi. It is a little strange bcz he also wants her to think good of him. But he remains genuine to her. Even if he was misunderstood and Anokhi blamed him for Astha's disappearance, he wanted to explain things to her. He knew she would understand. And she actually did. Remember in the riot episode she said, "Pata nahi kyu maine khud ko samjhane ki koshish ki aapne jo bhi Astha maam se kaha, ghusse mei kaha hoga." It hinted that had started to see things clear up but then they annoyed each other again and went back to square one

Lets not forget that pain and fear of losing her in the hospital. I still go back and watch that scene when he said, "Tumhe andaza bhi hai mujhpe kya beeti?" Those eyes... Damn even Anokhi spotted it and was surprised a little.

He definitely was still closed off during the Valentine's day episodes. I would say he was forced to open up and be more vulnerable with Anokhi when Aastha went missing, and then that culminated further with the riot sequence. Since then their equation has been much different

I don't know about love per se.

He was attracted by her mind first and then her tenacity. If we see Shaurya as a mini Shaan, then it makes sense that he's attracted to the mini-Aastha in Anokhi.

They showed "something" starting during the ragging case and how Anokhi didn't like being misunderstood by Shaurya....about how she called the press. She was also impressed post-Valentine's day dance when he saved Babli.

As for Shaurya, we saw moments of it, but it really solidified to me post-riots. Being misunderstood by Anokhi really irked him.

I don't think either of them are in "love", but there's attraction that's unexplained, admiration, and trust between them now.

Starting with the day he came to know that Shaan and Astha both favor Anokhi a lot. Right from day one, she has been more than a normal student and he has crossed professional and ethical boundaries to prevent her admission. Then, it was jealousy.

When she passed the interview, it was admiration bcz as a professor he knew that she is very smart.

During the ragging track, he saw her vulnerability, strength and honesty. He felt protective as her professor and wanted to do the right thing.

I think the first time the attraction sparked was definitely the V-day dance. Until then they were like just... Strangely aware of each other.

During the dance, They were close to each other and touched each other in a manner no professor touches his student and vice-versa. When their eyes met, there was a certain awareness between them and they officially crossed their threshold as student and professor. That night Anokhi was conscious of their closeness in the car and it did put her in an awkward position.

Then as situations kept coming, Shaurya started feeling a protective instinct and guilt. The attraction had already begun and he couldn't help but feel restless as well. When his eyes followed her around in his bday party, there was guilt mixed with the desperation to make things right with her. He knew that he hurt her unintentionally, but he was not that bothered. But he got really restless when he realized that she is avoiding him.

Anokhi and Shaurya have always asserted a certain haqq on each other. They take personal liberties with each other. I mean, its so obvious that just compare pre-Anokhi wala Shaurya with post-Anokhi wala Shaurya. He has changed soooo much. He started changing ever since she came to the institute.

And since then he has cared a lot about what she thinks about him. So I think the entire process of falling in love started when they first had a proper conversation. After all, Shaurya has always been anything but professional with her.

And their first proper conversation was when they were planning to frame Anmol right??
