Chapter-2 [Last Chapter]
Shaurya stepped inside the building, wearing a deep red coloured jacket matched with white tshirt and blue jeans.
'Please God don't let the Sabherwal family see me right now!' He enchanted in his mind while moving towards his class as he knew, one look from his over strict family and he will loose his temper.
He didn't want to present himself like a brat in front of her.
'Her!! I don't know why she is avoiding me though when every boy in the class give her heart eyes not only me! " He thought and the mere flash of the boys gawking what's his boiled his blood.
And to top it he looked to find that the door to his class was closed.
'What the hell!' He thought as today he deliberately got late just to get her attention but his whole plan got backfired the moment he witnessed the door closed.
He closed his eyes for a moment and took in all his anger before going in.
The moment he opened his eyes he pushed the door and entered the class.
"Shaurya you are late! Out of the class now! "He heard her say.
"Shaurya Sabherwal owns this college and no one can get me out of the class unless it's me! " He said arrogantly turning towards her.
"Fine! Because of you, your friends will suffer! I am going out, you stay! "She said as she was left with no option but to move out.
'This isn't a way to behave!' She thought.
"Shaurya please go out! Don't create a scene!" Arsh whispered to him making him want to punch back in anger.
"Fine! I am going out! You can continue the lecture!" He said while moving out.
Never in his life he has felt this much insulted! Though there's a first time for everything so maybe things are going to change for him.
'Playing hard to get! Well the two can definitely play the game!' He thought as he moved somewhere.
Later when the class got over, Arsh and Laksh expected Shaurya to kill them just as they stepped outside the class but to their surprise he wasn't there.
"Thank god!" Arsh heaved a sigh of relief.
"Of course he won't be here standing! He is Shaurya Sabherwal after all" Laksh told.
"But he definitely must be angry! " Tina said a bit scared.
"then let his anger cool down a bit before we try contacting him! " Arsh said as they walked not aware of the fact that Anokhi heard the whole conversation of them.
'I shouldn't think about him! He is just a student! My class is over and now I need to study for my semester! That's it!' She thought and moved towards her cabin and got shocked when a hand pulled her by waist.
When she was about to scream in fear, a hand came on her mouth to prevent her from doing so.
"Stop!! It's me Shaurya! " He whisper yelled making her open her and look at him giving off his charming smile.
"Shaurya what is this? Leave me! And what are you doing here? "
"To punish you Ms. Professor! "
"Punish me? Why? "
"Because you are ignoring me since few days like a typical angry girlfriend and you threw tantrums today in the class so a punishment is what you should get! "
"Shutup Shaurya, I am your Professor! "
"I never denied that but I want you to be my girlfriend too!"
'My girlfriend, the word is already giving butterflies to me ' he thought.
"I am warning you for the last time! "
"And you think that it will make me back off? You certainly don't have skills to do that Kind of stuff so don't even try. "
Before she could reply, they heard loud ringing sound. He sighed in annoyance as it was his phone and when he took it out to look who was disturbing then he got more annoyed as it was Arsh who was calling.
"Now what do you want Arsh? " He asked attending the call.
Seeing Shaurya's grip loosen on her she took advantage of that moment by pushing him away and quickly went behind the table.
"Yes I am! So much that I want to chop your annoying brain into pieces!" She heard him spat out in anger.
He then disconnected the call, turning to look at her, her smiled once again.
"So where were we? " He asked teasingly.
"Out Shaurya! " She said flipping pages of her book.
"All you know is to get me out of places but let me tell you I am pretty much stubborn so you don't have much of a say! " He explained.
"I am your professor Shaurya!" She deadpanned.
" I know already and I like you Ms. Professor!" He confessed.
"I have a boyfriend!" She lied obviously trying to get him away from her.
"You have? Strange!You look like more of a studious, no dirty business kind of girl to me! Can I meet him though? " He asked giving her an amused look.
"No! "She almost immediately replied.
"Ok then I am sure he will not mind if the two of us go on a date! Will he?" He teased her yet again.
"Yes because.. Because we are going on a date tonight!" She stuttered forming the lie carefully.
"Date?" He asked confirming what he heard.
"Yes!" She confirmed.
He frowned and stormed off angrily from her cabin making her sigh in relief.
"Mr. Noon I have a task for you! " Shaurya said in a phone conversation with his dad Shaan's computer expert who happens to be a hacker too.
Later in the restaurant, she went along with Rahul who was her friend since her schooling.
"Nikki are you sure about this? Because if my girlfriend sees us, she will kill me! " Rahul said in a scared tone.
"How will she be here when she is out of town and I know Shaurya must be eyeing us through some spies or something so you have to help me! " She said not having any other option but this.
"Why though? I don't think he is a creep from the story you told me! "
"But he is my student! " She informed.
"Ohh! Then also that's not a big deal since he is of our age! "
"Are you on my side or his?"
"Of course yours sister! " He smiled.
"Umm you order food, I need to use the washroom! " Rahul said and left the moment she nodded in okay.
"Hello future girlfriend!" Shaurya said turning, sitting opposite to her on the seat where Rahul was sitting, removing the cap of his black hoodie.
"What are you doing here Shaurya? " She asked shocked.
"First you answer! Why you lied to me about you having a boyfriend? When you clearly don't have one! " He asked.
"How do you know I lied? " She asked in return.
"Well that guy who was posing to be your boyfriend acted lowly and I knew it already as well! "
"What do mean by lowly and how did you know?"
"I mean if he was your boyfriend then he would be touchy towards you or something but he was maintaining distance as if you have some disease! I liked it though because you are only mine to touch! "
"Oh! "
"Oh indeed! And for your other question I am Shaurya Sabherwal, I have my sources to get your background check done! "
"I can't believe this!" She exclaimed processing the information he told her.
"But I am here in front of you! What's there to not believe? " He innocently asked.
"Forget it! What are you doing here?"
"I am on a date! " He teased her and chuckled seeing her face giving a blank look to him for a moment.
"With you silly! Don't be jealous! " He laughed.
"I ain't jealous! " She said sternly.
"Sure! Whatever floats your boat! Anyway you are looking gorgeous in this dress! " He complimented her.
"Shaurya I... " She started to state her profession again to him but was cut off in between by him.
"Not a single word or I will kiss you here in front of everyone! Now do you want that? " He asked seriously to which she nodded in no.
"Good girl! " He said.
"Rahul isn't here yet! Where is he? "
"He won't come! "
"What? "
"I mean my friend who is in the bathroom must have informed him to leave so he won't come! "
"Shaurya how can you even do this? "
"What's wrong with you? It was you who lied to me about having boyfriend and I am just here to claim what's mine!"
She gave a death glare to him while he focused on the menu.
"Waiter! " He called out and when the waiter arrived, he gave order for a combo pack which included, burger, cold drink and a wrap.
"Your order mam?" The waiter asked.
After taking her order which was white sauce pasta, waiter left.
"You will eat that much Shaurya? "
"Obviously! Who else? I have an appetite not like others and plus it's my cheat day so I will make the most of it."
Soon the food arrived and they started munching it.
"Shaurya, eat your food! Not mine! " She said as he took a bite of her pasta.
"What do I do when I find your food more tempting then mine because your beautiful hands touched it! " He cooed.
"These lines might works for those makeup queens of your class but not me! " She said in utter disgust.
"My my, are you jealous of them Ms. Professor? " He teased.
"Of course not!"
"Obviously! What's the need to be jealous when you have me wrapped around your little finger! "
"Very funny! "
"Hey I am 100% serious! "
"I don't think so! "
"Mean! "
"I know so please leave me alone! "
"You think that acting all mean and cold will push me away? Na-Na not happening so drop the act and be a good girl! " He said making her look at him in disbelief.
A few weeks passed like this. Slowly and steadily he made his own place in her heart through his flirty and cheesy ways. Like once he filled her apartment with bouquets and simply answered with 'I felt I am not pampering you enough so here we are!' And the other day her fridge got overloaded with chocolates and her favourite brownie ice cream all thanks to him. And he didn't stop on that, the random holding hands, a few kisses here and there and of course his attention got her overwhelmed with happiness. The way he showered love on her despite knowing the fact that she would not reciprocate was commendable.
One fine day she was moving towards his cabin when, she noticed a huge crowd of students while passing through the ground. Well that was normal to happen in a college but the next thing she saw wasn't.
"I love you Shaurya Sabherwal!" It read and instantly tears threatened to escape her eyes that someone else has already took the plunge to propose him. He was handsome and charming, no doubt! But didn't he tell her that he belongs to her and no one else.
'Why?' Her heart cried.
"I am sorry! I already have someone special in my life right now and I don't plan on loosing her! " He voiced out to the girl who proposed him so sweetly but he already belonged to someone and he didn't want to loose her
"It's ok I understand Shaurya! But please know that if you ever breakup from her than you have me! " She said.
"In that case don't wait then! Because breakup is never going to happen! " He said and moved out of the crowd only to witness her hurt face.
"Sweet heart! " He merely uttered when she quickly made her way to her cabin.
'She took it all wrong! Oh no! ' he thought and he immediately followed her to fix the whole situation.
"Don't you trust me Anokhi? " He asked once he closed the door of her cabin.
"It's ok Shaurya I can understand it was just a crush you had on me! "
"What rubbish are you talking? And I love you! How can you even say it was a crush? It's love sweetheart and that girl, well I rejected her! I will only accept your love sweetheart and no one else.. "
"Shaurya.. I.. " She stuttered.
"I know you want to take things slow because of the complications! I will wait but since I already blurted so do know that I love you Ms. Professor!" He said taking her in his arms and placing feathery kisses on her jaw.
"I love you too Shaurya! "
He immediately looked at her in eyes hearing that.
"Sweetheart just because I said it doesn't mean you have to as well! It's fine, I can wait! Take your time!" He said though his heart fluttered with happiness on hearing that.
"I mean it Shaurya! " She whispered while hiding her face in his chest.
"Really sweetheart? I am so happy right now! " He said and bent down a little to kiss her lips.
" Shaurya, Ms. Bhalla! " Devi shouted making both Shaurya and Anokhi stunned.
'I remember I closed the door, then how?' He thought as he looked at avery angry Devi Sabherwal standing at the door.
They immediately separated and Anokhi looked at Devi who was looking like a fireball at the moment.
'And the award for the most nosey Sabherwal member goes to Mrs. Devi Sabherwal! Clapping everyone! Why can't she mind her own business and let others live their own life peacefully?' Shaurya thought holding Anokhi's hand as if making her aware of his presence and support towards her.
