Chapter 1

" haan dad, main apne room mn ponch gya hun. "

" Han dad! Woh research paper mn complete kar k aj hi bhej dunga." Shaurya was opening his room of the college. He had to submit an important research proposal by tonight. That is why ,he was in the college on sunday evening.

" Beta, jaldi khatam kar k ajana" shaan said.

" Yes dad. Dont worry." Shaurya cut the call , remove his coat, pulled his sleeves up,opened collar button to get started with his paper.

" chal shaurya! Khatam kar kaam" he made himself comfortable for the task.

"Chal anokhi! Jaldi jaldi books jama karlay. Kal economics ka test hai. Marginal utility to class mn bhi samjh nahi aya tha, agar book s bhi na aya, to kal pakka fail hojaongi test mn aur phir shaurya sir apne usual smirk k sath kahain gay " Ms bhalla! Mn n to pehle hi kaha tha k ap 1 ordinary student hain." Anokhi tried to copy shaurya and laughed on her own silliness.

As she was passing through the corridor, she saw the lights on of shaurya room.

" Yeh kon hai kamray mn" anokhi peeped into the room and saw shaurya working on laptop.

" Aray wah anokhi! Book ko chor, chaltay phirtay youtube s hi samjh leti hun." She knocked on the door and shaurya came out of his trance.

" Come in" shaurya was surprised to see anokhi at the door.

" Sir woh mn andar ajaon?"

" Ajayain but ap is waqt yahan? Its not safe anokhi to be at college on off days." Shaurya spoke with concern.

" Sir woh mn books lene ayi thi kal test k liye."

" To ap n college hours mn kun nahi lyn?"

" Sir woh .....mujhy laga k notes s samjh ajayega but marginal utility nhi aya samjh." She uttered with such a cute face that shaurya could not hold his smile.

" To ap yeh itni moti books s samjhyngi raat bhar!" Shaurya pointed towards pile of books.

" Irada to yehi tha but agar ap samjhdayn thora sa....please" anokhi requested with all the innocence she could gather.

Shaurya looked towards his laptop in which he was half a way through the paper and then looked her face.

" Damn." He uttered.

" Ayay, but i wont go in details which i discussed in class. I will just overview it so that you can get concept."

" Aray wah..." Anokhi beamed with smile and seated beside him.

" Let me just get my coffee" shaurya excused himself and that was a point when anokhi noticed him carefully. Unbuttoned shirt, folded sleeves, without court and sleepy eyes, he looked different. She just watched him making coffee.

" Sir agar film industry mn try karain to is s zyada successful hoskte" she thought.

At that moment, shaurya turned to ask her for coffee but, saw her watching him intently.

" Ms bhalla?" He called her out.but she didn't move.

" Ms bhalla?".

" Ji sir" she came out of the trance.

" Kia soch rahi?"

" Yehi k agar ap hero..."

" Ji.." shaurya eyes widened.

" Woh yeh k agar ap human development index bhi thora sa samjha dyn" anokhi composed herself.

" But uska test to nahi kal. Infact mn n to apko yeh parha bhi nahi ab tak." Shaurya had heard the word hero and knew HDI is just a coverup but, he played along hiding his smirk.

" Woh .....main.....book ! ...is book mn parha tha." She signaled on the book.

" Konsa topic mn? Dikhayain"

" Kia baal ki khaal nikalne lagay yeh."

" Woh page nahi yad."

" Acha woh...." Shaurya was about to enquire more but, the lights went out.

" Yeh kiya hua! Mera topic" anokhi quickly changed the topic.

" Be seated ms bhalla! I think electricity went out and there is no one to open the generator." Shaurya looked out the door.

" Let me open emergency light, teach yoh the topic and you quickly leave from here." It was dark and he became worried.

" Look ms bhalla, " and then he started

Explaining the topic. Questions emerged, answers were given and topic from overview went far into detail. They realized the time when emergency light lost its power and went off.

" I think ms bhalla, apko samjh agya hoga. And its late. Ap jayay ab ghar and mn ja kar generator on karta hun." Anokhi gathered her books ,thanked him and was about to leave when a wire sparked from the electricity box of the room.

" Shit!" Shaurya took his phone , switch light on and tried to locate whats the problem. Watching him that he is having difficulty, anokhi put the books down and took the phone from his mouth. Shaurya looked at her.

" Ms bhalla, its late."

" Sir ap yeh thek karlyn phir chali jaongi."

The room was getting hot. The acs were off but, at that time,they were engulfed in studies but now, it was all sweaty.

" Yeh hogya"

" Yeh lyn phone."

Shaurya switched off the light ,the room went into darkness and as soon as anokhi stepped forward, she was about to tripped but, was timely held by shaurya.

" Ms bhalla aram s" he hold her and made her stand against the wall. Anokhi in pain realized that they were just inches apart, she could smell his perfume, she could see his every feature with intent and at that moment ,shaurya looked up. There was something else in those eyes; rawness, depth, feel all was different. They were just inches apart; her forehead had drops of sweat which looked pearl to him, her eyes stuck on him and lips, he stuck on them. They couldn't move. Shaurya could see her lips trembling ,he moved an inch closer and anokhi closed her eyes to welcome it. At last, he placed his lips on her and taking all the fear from them. Anokhi replied back; her hands moved from his shoulder to his neck. Shaurya tightened his grip on her waist and deepen the kiss. It had all; immaturity, experience, rawness, passion and desire.The kiss was broken by the lights in the room. The whole room brighten up and they went apart with realization of what they had done. Anokhi eyes widened and shaurya stepped back from her. There eyes met and they both could see each others lips and condition. Anokhi gathered herself and ran from the room,leaving the books on the desk. Shaurya didnot stop her and went down on his knees realizing of what just happened in that moment.

PART 2:

They were both seated in the board room. Tej and shaan couldnot believe their eyes; shaurya and like that......with his student. The board members couldnot understand either. They have not heard or seen anything indecent about shautya over the years.

" Ms anokhi and Mr shaurya! You both know why we have called you here. Its better to explain the situation yourself rather than we explain the poster for you." Tej couldnot control his anger.

"Wese to Mr shaurya yahan student bhi rahay hain and hum unke teachers bhi reh chukay hain, unkay baray mn aesi koi baat na dekhi na suni. But, apke baray mn to atay hi bauhaut kuch sun chukay hain Ms anokhi." The board member tried to highlight the ragging incident and anokhi being highlight since she had entered the college.

" Ji wese apne ragging to 1 bauhaut bara issue banaya tha. Even 1 student n apko kiss krne ki koshish ki thi to apne us k khilaaf pura action liya tha. Aur yahan to......"

The board members were convinced that it must be anokhi fault. Anokhi couldnot control her tears and shaurya couldnot hold his anger.

" Can i say something?" Finally ,shaurya decided to clear the situation.

" Han shaurya bolo?" Shaan became restless. He wanted to know what exactly happened.

" Main kal kuch research proposal k liye late night stay karrha tha. Ms anokhi aj honay walay test k liye meri help lene ayain thin."

Anokhi closed her eyes. She didn't want to recall the situation. She couldnot sleep because of it. She couldnot ran away from the feeling of his touch ,his lips ,his closeness. On the contrary, shaurya closed his eyes to recollect the moment; her feel, her eyes, her rawness.

" Ms anokhi apko kese pata chala k shaurya akele hain and sunday ko college main hongay?" One board member enquired.

" Ap unko follow karrhi thin?" Anokhi eyes widened .

" Yeh ap kesi baat karrhi hain!" Shaan intervened.

" But yeh baat tajub ki hai! Ms anokhi wahan sunday ko karne kia ayin thin." Tej added.

" Yeh library s books collect karne ayain thin and maybe she saw my room open, so yeh samjhne agyin." Shaurya clarified.

" Maybe! Tum khud sure nahi ho shaurya yeh wahan kia karne ayi thi. How can you defend her!" Tej countered.

" Because i know k yeh books lene ayi thin. Woh books ab bhi mere room mn hi hain. " Shaurya stated fact.

" And jahan tak rahi .....us ....us picture ki baat, i wont deny k woh hua tha.....but....its my fault." Shaurya answered.

Anokhi turned towards him with wide open eyes.

" I lost my control or i would say senses. Heat of moment mn i did it and i take full responsibility of it. Ms anokhi ki is mn koi ghalati nahi hi. Infact, woh khhd shock thi. I admit ,i crossed the line of being a teacher!" Shaurya put his entire career at stake but, he cant put blame of his own weakness on a girl. It was he who kissed her.

" Shaurya tum jantay hona k yeh admit karne s ,we have to take action against you and consequences are k you will be rusticated." Tej informed him.

" Yes! I do and i am ready to take the consequences. I know that i wont be allowed teaching in any other institute. Shaurya eyes blurred with this thought. He always aspired to be a teacher in his life and a single moment ruined it.

" I should take a leave" shaurya stood to leave the room.

" Rukye sir" anokhi couldnot handle more. She wasnot a weak women who cant own her actions. She was a strong women who has the guts to accept her actions, even they are wrong.

" Ap logon n sirf 1 side ki baat suni, usi ko Sach mana and faisla bhi suna diya. Us ...us picture ka part mn bhi hun aur mujhay meri baat rakhne ka haq hai."

Anokhi calmed herself and try to put her point forward.

" Ms anokhi! Mn baat bata chuka hun. Ap fikar na karain,apke khilaf action nahi hoga." Shaurya tried to remove her from this mess.

" Sir , mujhay kun koi fikar hogi. Kal jo bhi kuch hua, woh college hours mn nahi tha. Aur na hi koi official day tha college ka. Han ,college facility ka protocol humse toota hai but, still,according to the college law, college hours mn hi indecent acts ki strict punishment hai. Weekend mn honay walay kisi act k baray mn koi rule nahi hai. " Anokhi paused and everyone in the were stunned with the words. She knew the policy more than them.

" And jahan tak rahi facility misuse ki baat, woh hum admit krtay hain aur uski punishment monetary ya phir service k tor par ap lesakte hain ,as per SIAC law."

Shaurya was stunned behind her. Where is she leading this conversation!

" And jahan tak rahi kal incident ki baat...." Anokhi collected herself.

" Woh sir n theek kahan. It was a moment of loss of senses but, yeh cheez dono side s thi. We both loss the presence of mind and.......flow in the moment." Anokhi admitted.

"Ms anokhi ap yeh kia karh rahi hain! " Shaurya want to stopped her right there.

" Sir, sach bol rahi hun. Apko yeh ghalat fehmi hai k apne koi zabardasti ki hai. Jab k baat yeh nahi hai."

" To ap yeh kehna chahti hai that ap aur Mr shaurya relationship mn hain?" One board member became curious.

" Aesa hum n nahi kaha. It was just a weak moment jis par hum dono ko sharmindagi hai. Yeh aj bhi mere sir hai aur main 1 student. Hum apni ghalati mantay hain but, iska ilzaam kisi 1 par nahi hai." Anokhi corrected the member.

" Ms anokhi ap kun jhoot bol rahi hain?" Shaurya eyes were red, with anger.

" Sir apko kun lagta hai k ap mere sath kuch bhi zabardasti karskte hain! Apko anmol yad nahi hai kiya! Agar main usko thappad mar sakti hun to apko bhi maar sakti thi. Agar main n aesa nahi kiya hai to iska matlab yehi hua k us waqt jo bhi hua, us main meri marzi shamil thi! " Anokhi eyes were red, but this time with pain.

" I think situation clear hochuki hai. And jahan tak anokhi n kaha , as per our rules, we just have two options. And expulsion ya rustication ka sawal hi nahi." Shaan was relaxed listening the situation.

" But hum is baat ko aese kese janay de sakte hain! 1 student aur teacher.....! Humaray institute ki reputation ka kiya hoga! " A board member added.

" Can i talk with ms anokhi before the board make any decision, in private!" Shaurya voice stunned the room.

" But shaurya.....ab kia..." Shaan try to handle the situation.

" I think there are misunderstanding regarding the situation between us. I need to clear it out!"

" Ok! But , shaurya mjhay yehi lagta hai k ms anokhi....theek keh rahi." Tej wanted to calm shaurya.

" Please come ! Ms anokhi " shaurya ignored the members in the room. His eyes were stuck on her. He left the room and anokhi followed him by calming herself. She knew what he will say. But, she also knew that misunderstanding is on his side, not her. When they reached the door of his room, he closed the door not caring about what image this will lead to. He only cared about what the hell she spoke in front of the committee.

" Ab tum btaogi yeh kia bakwas thi!".

The board members had made the tentative decision. They were waiting for shaurya. But, tej was worried for another reason!

"Jo bhi baat ho, magar yeh kal teesra kon mojood tha college main jisne yeh tasweer! Important yeh nahi k shaurya aur anokhi k bech mn kia hua, important yeh hai k woh kisne dekha aur faida uthana chaha!"
