The sole reason why Aastha and Shaan couldn't be together is because of Shaan being spineless. One could infer it from their conversation at the library.
This is why it's so refreshing to see a completely different Shaan altogether, the one who takes a stand for what he believes in. He failed Aastha but it's refreshing to see that he has finally redeemed himself and become a better person.
The way he took stand for Anokhi in front of Shaurya as well as the media, I was in awe. This was definitely an episode for Shaan, he owned it. Not to mention the actor is amazing, he's so natural.
Coming over to Shaurya, I thought he's going to be the typical TV show MCP but I was relieved when I saw the precap where he's dissecting Anmol's lie. This seems more close to his character.
Though I REALLY think CVs should pace up the show. We're going too slow with barely any meaningful scenes between the leads. No romance at all. We've barely increased trp by 0.1.
Anokhi has started trusting Shaurya. Even if it's unconsciously. You see her glancing at him whenever something about the ragging comes up, it's as if to tell him, " remember how you found me that day? Believe me please".
I know it doesn't mean much romantically but I'm glad our leads are on their way of slowly building trust in each other.
Looking forward to hear everyone's thoughts!
