AT First I was like please dont tell me shes gonna hug him, but when held to support, Anokhi fell and the HUGGED. omg. i

Agreed slowly they are peeling the layers of a Egoistic misogynistic ML who was kind of a douche bag we are finally getting to see his vulnerable and caring side. I am sucker for his acting and his characterization. To be honest Anokhi's character has not excited me. She is kind of quintessential FL who is righteous and annoying. Shaurya too fits the bill of complex ITV trope of damaged ML the only difference being he is a college professor and not businessman ...but there is something unique about Shakhi. I can't put a finger on it yet

Me too!! I loved that scene when he caressed her face.. hug too but I wasn’t expecting it to happen!! The cvs aren’t copying the bengali show all the way bc in there he doesn’t do all this !! Thank god ..

I saw that sparks and passion will fly between these two so can’t wait to see that! I love the rabba ve as well! It’s cute

yes they should pick up the pace with respect to plot. I am glad they are not copy pasting scenes from the Bengali version. But they are sticking to it's slow pace which is problematic. I don't mind investing time in side characters getting an arc if it helps the plot but I am not in favor of them getting too much screen time especially Bubli's husband and Shaurya younger uncle

The reformed ML is overdone on ITV but I am hopeful I will enjoy it here because it would seem natural and not completely out of character

Especially when he will she Shaan or Astha caring for her, pampering her etc. I don't think it was guilt but he was concerned for her well being seeing how much admission to this college meant to her. I don't know how to interpret Shaurya's feelings or action today. Is it just normal care and concern of well being of an ordinary student and he was acting like a professor or was it a flame of attraction driving him to the brink of insanity seeing her in that state? Either way it was a treat to watch. Honestly speaking I am a skeptic when it comes to teacher student romance. Be it Ezra and Arya in PLL and there they didn't know at the beginning or here. I have a classmate who married our professor with a whopping 14 year age gap. The professor had quite a reputation for being extra friendly with female students. So I don't know. The only affinity towards Shakhi is the fact that I like their on screen chemistry

There is a forbidden element to the relationship which will be interesting to see. It’s not even so much the age gap but the fact that’s he’s the professor and student. Then there’s a matter of the different family backgrounds. I am being too optimistic but I think at least for the next week, he’ll show more of a caring side to the nature of the incident. It is a tv so they’ll have to find plots and stories to things engaging for viewers.

It’s hard to interpret his thoughts. Was it care concern or something more?

Either way the chemistry was there, it’s been there in other scenes but this was a new side of it

True true, for some reason this seems different.
More than reforming, it’s sort of seeing the real Shaurya, the one behind the mask and facade. And that makes it seem of a natural transition. It’s not like Anokhi is going to reform him directly. There’s that whole angle of his parents. To be honest, the character was intriguing early on but not likable. Too cold. The way the character has evolved has been nice

True. Would this be first ITV show with such Taboo relationship baring kuch to log kahenge but there too they were not technically student teacher? Hopefully he trusts her words and take actions against his atrocious cousins and that Creep Anmol.

As of now there is no initial attraction between them.Shaurya considers Anokhi as a student nothing more and Anokhi respects him as a professor. And what Shaurya had done today was out of humanity. He would have done the same for any other student also. And also Anokhi just wanted to escape from there, only when Shaurya stopped her she hugged him ,in other words she took support from him at the moment. If security had opened the door she would have run away as they would not stop her by holding hand. Its attractive to viewers eyes but expecting them to feel for each other at this stage is not possible.
