Shaurya is 29, Anokhi is 19!!

I think she’s 20 (based on DOB on admissions form) and he’s 29. Shaurya still kind of young for a professor or director even but his family runs the college so he’s probably taken over for his dad and bade papa. He’s obviously good at his job and works hard but he’s a Sabherwal so it was natural for him to take over the college.

I’m not sure how the love story evolves but maybe he isn’t her professor when they fall in love or stops teaching when he realizes it can a conflict of interest. They do fall in love mutually but it seems like he may fall first but keep it to himself and she won’t reciprocate until later on

Even without love, Shaurya still mixing personal issues with education which is also a bit of a red flag. And technically Anokhi broke a college rule by staying in the library and taking admissions later on (though with recommendation, seems like one can still get in) and something tells me she’s going to be a rebel in disguise and challenge status quo after entering SIAC officially. So it seems these two might be rule breakers. Hope the treatment is good whenever the time comes for this track. I think Shagun was also a student at SIAC who graduated. Shaurya doesn’t seem to have a social life at all and his life revolves around college so might explain why he only meets people at SIAC.

edit: despite the age difference, I think Anokhi is actually a little more mature than Shaurya. On the surface he seems more mature but at a deeper level, I think she has much higher emotional intelligence and her attitude and outlook towards life seems to be more promising and mature. Both have lacked on the parental side but Anokhis mum did give her an opportunity to follow her dreams (and didn’t teach her to conform along the way while fearing her hubby) age is a number and I think both have a lot to learn from each other

i also feel the charachter of shaurya is conflicted, he is inherently nice but the badi ma has filled his head with his mother abandonment, which obviously makes him hate career women
