Scene: shastri sister's room
Devyani shastri is on the ninth cloud as now she can claim the she knows rajat sareen personally. She is flying just imagining rajat in some of her weirdest dreams
Devyani- kyonki tum hi ho, bas tum hi meri zindagi ab tum hi ho
Alka- dev just stop it .its srsly ok
Peeya-(reading her psychology textbook)- you know devyani didi, extreme thought proceeses lead to abnormal thinking and wierd dreams which are dangerous
Devyani- kaise samjhaaoon tumhe mera pehla pehla pyaar hai
Alka- yeah my dear, and i don't count for what no. of time
Devyani still singing and dancing in her own world and bammm... she collides into anu who was abt to enter the room
Anu- wat are you doing dev?
Alka- she is lost in somebody's thought!
Anu- again? But who
Devyani- the one, the only rajat sareen
Anu- that squadron leader, why and what is so special abt him that you are behaving so abnormal
Devyani- you know what anushka shastri, you are abnormal did'nt you see as and when he entered the college every other girl is going gaga over him
Anu- oh now i get it now every girl will go and jump in the well then you also do the same thing, come on devyani relax he is no alien just another human being.

Dev leaves the room
Anu- i will go and freshen up
In the evening- sareen house
All are busy doing puja preparations, rajat enters looking like a prince charming from heaven on earth in his blue sherwani. He receives compliments from everybody he comes across. Then he goes to his mother to help her, anu was already there and as she turned his jaw dropped, wearing a simple plain red saree with stud earrings and a little bit of kohl in her eyes. Minty gives a basket full of flowers to anu and tells her to put them at the top of the door of every room, anu takes the basket and leaves, anu gives the basket to a servant and tells him to give one flower at a time, she pulls a ladder and climbs it and starts putting the flowers, rajat comes there takes the basket from the servant and asks him to leave. The servant leaves.
Anu- bhaiyya, pls give me a big flower(rajat gives her a flower) and the other one(rajat gives her another flower) bhaiyya not this one the yellow flower
Rajat- anushka do you really think m your bhaiyya (as anu turns, she is surprised seeing rajat but before she could say anything she slipped from the ladder because her pallu was trapped in her feet as she slipped rajat held her from her waist. He looked at the innocence in her eyes, as if she herself did'nt know how beautiful she was, she possessed no pride in the way she carried herself) and here we have our first official anuraj moment!!!!!!!!
Anu- rajat m ok
Rajat- oh m sorry (making her stand)
Anu- thanks (anu leaves the place feeling embarrassed)
There is a big smile on rajat's face
As the puja begins, there begins a trail of young girls(dev included) who are trying to find excuses which are most often lame to talk to rajat and to grab his attention, but rajat's attention is somewhere else, he is just seeing anu giving aarti to everyone and is patiently waiting for his chance. Anu gives him the aarti and before he could say anything she leaves.
Rajat-(behind her) anu are you trying to ignore me
Anu- why would i try to do that
Rajat- i want to tell you that...
A girl arrives and she introduces herself, then admires rajat's charm and then(anu is abt to leave) rajat tells that girl to excuse him and he stops her
Anu- see rajat you say that i ignore you but you are having all such girls around you since you came here
Rajat- so whats the problem these girls come around so i have to attend them
Again yet another girl comes and this time she signs anu to leave in a rude manner
Anu- ohh hello, ms. Whatever your name is, if you have also come here to flirt with rajat sareen then get one thing straight in your head that he is just entertaining girls like you just for the sake of formality, so now we are here discussing something really important so for heaven's sake excuse us or rather spare us
The girl leaves making a face at anu
Rajat- anu that was rude
Anu- No rajat, that was bold and rude was the way she was talking to me and you entertain these type of girls!
Rajat- what type of girls are you talking about?
Anu- m talking abt all those bumble bees who are humming around you since the last two hours and exxagarating- ohh rajat sareen this, ohh rajat sareen that as if rajat sareen is no human but the eighth wonder of the world
Rajat- they are complimenting me because they find me charming and handsome. So don't you find me good looking
Anu- no rajat, you are a good looking man but how many times do you need an explaination that you are a person with a good physique and looks,
Rajat- oohhkk so what did you say
Anu- see you are trying the same thing with me, i think you like to seek attention
Rajat-what?
Anu- i say you like it when girls are getting mad for you
Rajat- which young man does'nt like it when every second girl is drooling over him but you know what anushka, it is extremely difficult to win a war of words with so just let it be
Anu- by the way you were trying to tell me something.
Rajat- i was saying you look beautiful in this red saree. Thats my favourite colour also.
Anu- oh please rajat don't try and play these tricks with me (she turned to leave and rajat holds her hand to stop her)
Rajat- don't take it as a joke anu m damn serious
Anu- well then i should say thank you
At night rajat was lost in deep thought of how anu called him a typical attention seeker, he says how could she coz he thought himself to be a person for whom girls can even commit crimes. Anu was a person who did not go mad in her presence or tried to seek his attention but he was curious to get her attention, to meet her again and to know her more It was soon that he realized that anu was the only on e who genuinely complimented him about having a good physique. He again started smiling coz he thought anu to be different. Thinking about her he closed his eyes and was fast asleep
In the shastri sisters room dev was continuosly talking about how perfect rajat was looking that evening. Trying not to pay attention to what dev was saying anu was lost in her own dreamworld thinking about how she argued with rajat and how he held her to compliment her. That was the first time when a young man had complimented anu and she continuously kept blushing. Thinking about him she closed her eyes and went fast asleep
