I fail to understand neils character developed by cvs. He hated devyani so much that he disowned her when she needed him the most, even agreed to get a imposter marry her.
Now he is again falling for her. Begging for sorry all the time.
Wants dev back in his life by divorcing kajal.
Helping devyani in her work.

But situation then n now is the same MINTY hating DEV
Ab neil ko kya hua? Now why he is not thinking abt his mom.

Neils character to me is Dr Jekyll n Mr Hyde.
I fail to understand this development.

Nice post Reeya.

I too can't understand Niel. But I think cvs want to show him as a spoiled brat. He fell in love with Devyani after many insults by her. He is such a masochist. But after many rejections..he thaught of revenge. As a weak person he can't stay on a view.

His love for his mom is natural..coz he is mamma's boy. He wanted to show her that he is a man and can protect her.

Now ..what kind is Niel's love for Devyani?

First he love her as a beautiful girl which he used to fight with her.

Then he fell for her as a friend..and was fond of her intelligent and stubborness.

Now he fell for her because he feel guilt that because of him she went through lot of bad experiences.

I don't think he loves her as a mature person yet.

he is difficult to understand.
now he thinks that he is the reason behind Bobby to hurt devyani and that's tit for tat because he didn't wanted to marry any girl at this age but he got married to an unknown girl,he some time might think that if he was marrying then why he didn't marry devyani she was better than kajol and her best freind,

I hope the new entrant for devyani will be very positive...
I wish him to be strong n mature person. Some one like rajju
So neil n minty learns a leason. He should love dev more than neil.

Hi Reeya,

The Cvs clearly lost the essence of his character. The sudden transition Neil went through still remains to be explained by the Cvs. There were many potential positive arcs his character could have taken but unfortunately the writers bungled up. This Love-hate-love story is a dizzying spiral for Neil as well as the viewers.

Agree with U, Awida Sis and Aparna!!

He is really an immature spoilt child... I found him quite sweet and cute during Anuraj separation...Liked devil a lot... Bot nowadays its a pain to watch neil... Sorry if I hurt devil's fans... But CVs haS already spoilt neil's character...

Reeya not only u even sumit is thinking what type of character I am playing. He himself is thinking whom he loves more his mom or dev in serial.
