and he sits down with her tying his handkerchief in her hair and then wiping all the mud stuck on her face while helping sareen with his pots and plants

and as she says this both enjoy a nice shower from sareen's water pipe which he unintentionally gifts them while watering his plants!😳
back to his room as rajat is drying his hair, anu enters walking briskly
anu-mujhe aapse koi favour nahi chaahiye rajat!😡

rajat- pls there is no point in arguing abt this thing- I know u love studying, u have really good marks, you said u r a career person and abhove all u want to save for peeya's higher education, right!😊

and anu was not able to speak a single word and she just left the room
now shastri gives a call to rajat that anu finally agreed to take up the job after an hour long discussion so rajat goes upstairs to congratulate her but wahaa toh scene hi alag hai...
anu- m sorry dev humse galti ho gayi😭

rajat-(POV)- dev saying anu is careless???????????😕😕😕

and as rajat is thinking about the silver anklet dev is shouting on anu in full volume
dev- ANUSHKA SHASTRI hamesha apne mann ka kari phirti ho na ab dekho, u lost that anklet mujhe bhi pehenna tha par nahi tumhe toh zidd karke usse apne paas rakhna thanaa aur papa aur alka didi maan bhi gaye, tum jo bolo who sabko maannaa padta hai, tum hukum chalaati phiro aur tumhe kisike baare mein kuch nahi sochna...😡😡😡
rajat-(seeing anu teary eyed)- watch your tone DEVYAANI SHASTRI, main bataaoon kaun kitna careful aur kitna careless hai!😡😡😡
dev- acchha toh ab iss ANUSHKA ki tarah aap bhi shuru ho jaaenge😡
anu- rajat aap jaaiyye yahaa se😡
and now alka interrupts, apologizes to rajat and drags dev away to the other room but what rajat is seeing are the tears continuously flowing out of anu's eyes
rajat- anu pls don't cry😒
anu- aap chale jaaiiyye yahaa se, abhiii!!!😡
rajat- dekho anu agar ab tumne rona bandh nahi kiya toh main abhi dev ko jaake bataaunga k wooh kitni mean, selfish and most importantly kitni careful sound kar rahi thi!!!!😡
anu- dekhiye woo humaari behen hai, humme jo chaahe kahe humaare saath jo chaahe kare, aapko humaare beech aane ki zarurat nahi hai, hum sab kuch sambaahl lenge, I don't need any third person!!😡
rajat- is it??? FINE!!!😡😡😡
coming back to his room rajat was frustrated, frustrated with the way dev talked to anu, frustrated with the way anu talked to him and more than anything else frustrated with himself because again all the not so pleasant memories of all the consequences anu had to bear because of dev's so careful attitude and all his anguish. the whole scene kept on playing in his mind but suddenly he recalled the silver anklet, rushed to his cupboard, took out his blazer, checked the pockets and there it was, anu's silver anklet. he remembered to have taken it out the fresher's party night to check her sprain and then he kept it in his pocket. but the very other moment he realized that one piece of anklet was in his hand and the other in the pocket, the anklet had broken into two pieces and he felt so bad and more than that guilty about hurting anu again and again, why only her he thought, blaming himself he said she really does not deserve this!!!!😒
IN THE EVENING...
anu comes downstairs to return rajat's handkerchief, she meets both neil and rajat. neil greets her but rajat simply ignores her...
anu- ye lo neil hum rajat ka rumaal lautane aaye hai!😊
neil- ANUSHKA tum rajat sareen ka rumaal lautaane aayi ho???
anu- kyon, humme iski zarurat nahi hai, hamaare paas already bohot saare rumaal hai😆
neil- ab main bolta hu heyy shankarji!!!! acchha who sab chhoddo lo chocolate khaaoo😉
anu- kyon?😕
neil- kyonki bhai ne Vicky aur bunty ki hi setting kardi!!😆
anu- kaun Vicky aur kaun bunty???😕

and now as rajat is abt to leave the room anu stops him, blocks his path and holds his hand
anu- humme aise ignore mat kijiye rajat, baat kijiye humse😡
rajat- but u don't need any third person ryt? toh don't tlk to me go and talk to your careful sister, she can entertain u well😡😡
anu- aap bass humme itna bataiyye k aapko unn dono ladko k saath aisa sab karne ki kya zarurat thi😡
rajat- mujhe gussa aa gaya tha, setting setting kar rahe thhe jaake aaj unhiki setting kar di, I got them expelled from the college!!!😡😡
neil- aur tumhe pata hai anu bhai ne kya zor ka karara bajaya unke mooh pe, dono k faces soojh gaye thhe
anu- lekin rajat...
and before anu could say anything rajat separates his hand from hers and goes to his room banging the door...
AT NIGHT...
on the terrace anu is looking into her books but all her energy is concentrated on the tears that continuously flow down her eyes and rajat comes to her offering a cup of coffee...
rajat- m sorry😒

rajat- mujhe tumse aise baat nahi karni chahiye thi par mujhe tum par gussa aa raha tha, tumhaari behen pe gussa aa raha tha aur sabse zyaadaa khudpe gussaa aa raha tha😔
