Rajat confessed his love for Anu in front of everybody. Now that Anu said they can never unite, he is going back to Devyani and saying they will marry.

Rajat+Anu was past but Rajat+Devyani are future. 🤢

What is he even thinking? You love one girl and you are ready to marry her sister when everybody knows you don't love her. Why would Devyani agree? Why would Shastriji agree? The best thing to do was call off the engagement with Devyani and give time to heal broken hearts. Elders Sareen and Shastriji can then sit together and discuss what to do next.

If "He" breaks the engagement it ll affect alot of things

1.If things happen so fast without any drama and stretching.. serial would end at 100th episode

2.Here Rajat mentally prepared himself to be with Dev.. as he s just doing this for Anu s happiness as he loves her.. if he breaks Engagement Anu will get upset and already Dev is upset so he s trying to ease her too.. Rest is totally out of his concern in the story

3.They ve been showing Dev as negative and selfish so this s the best situation where they can uplift her character since she s the lead so they ll let her break the engagement so that she looks bit sensible and positive

It's all for drama sake.. They don't care about viewers feelings but only Twists and TRP
