It is not masala it's true fact raavan did played with d positions of planets, there r showing d actual things only. Raavan imprisoned nine planets which latter was rescued by Hanumanji when he visited Lanka in search of sitaji. Hanumanji with d help of Shani burned Lanka, after that only raavan's bad days started.

I referred to this as "Masala" based on character portrayal. Specifically Chaaya now acting more like Sandhya. Indra who has nothing better to do than be scared of Shaani. And Yam being so gullible and believing everyone else despite being Surya's Dev's son. On top of that Surya missing crap of him returning If this is not Masala what is?

So no not everything is being shown as facts. What is being shown is Masala to tendered for Indian audiences.

But inspite of all this I like Rohit's performance and just for him I watch the show. There is no flow to the story any more. I hope they branch out to Shani and his own leelas vs him staying at Surya Lok all the time.
