When Shanidev left Suryadev's sabha - he explicitly requested to be left alone. Shanidev also mentioned that he was angry (upset even with Mahadev) and to grant him his seclusion. He warned that anyone who confronts him would have to face his wrath. Yet, Yam foolishly fell into Indradev's trap and ridiculed Shanidev by capturing Kakol's mother and subjecting her to torture. Indradev set fire to Kakol's mother when she was binded by Yam - so in a way Yam enabled her death.
If Yam wanted justice for his mother's insult why did he not confront Shanidev directly? Why did he have to kidnap, torture, bind, and murder Kakol's mother?
How were Kakol or his mother responsible for Sangya's insult - or for the happenings at devalok?
Shanidev is only giving them the fruits of their bad karma. Rahu may be facilitating this thought - but it is high time Yam, Indra, and the devas enabling them learned not to inflict bodily harm and mental pain on others.
