Today's post of mine is not about any particular episode but overall analysis of what improvements can b done in Shakti serial to make it better .. Just wanted to give my personal feedback on certain points which I feel is lacking in the show and if these pointers r worked on , then Shakti can easily touch that magical 3 mark in trps yet again as the show has got really loyal viewers who r sticking to the show even in its worst possible track , so from here if CVs work on certain aspects of the show , then I m sure we can again touch the magical 3 mark ...
I really dont believe in blindly criticising the show or waiting for show to get over or my favourite actor to quit as these aren't happening in near future looking at the positive trps and how actors r satisfied with the show and also their paycheck .. So I want to think from a more practical point of view knowing well that the show will run for long and give my personal feedback accordingly on what improvements can b done for trps to further rise and not remain stagnent in that 2.5-2.8 mark only as I hv seen other shows like YHM on star plus rising to 3.3 trps too just with certain improvements in their track and making it more lead-couple centric ..
So this is a feedback post which I hope Colors , Producers and CVs take it in a positive way and hopefully bring these following improvements before the dreaded IPL begins ..
1) Shakti Trps = Focus On HaYa :
A strong Harman in action who is always his wife's saviour and an innocent naive Saumya whose fight for her identity is equally supported by her husband , together they make HaYa and this HaYa is what gives trps to the show right from the start till now .. Shakti got its highest ever trps of 4 when HaYa reunited post first kidnap track and after that whenever track is centered around HaYa whether its Bangkok track or Love confession track , Shakti always reached trps of 2.7 to 2.8 ⭐️ ..Even last week Shakti jumped to 2.7 trps yet again just because once again the main plot of the show was touched upon which is about Harman deciding to reveal Saumya's identity in front of the society as viewers were curious about start of society track though the track never started 😆 or else trps might hv touched even 3 if her identity was actually revealed last week 😳 ; But if even build up of society track can lead to 2.7 trps , then imagine how much trps actual society track can bring when finally Harman will reveal Saumya's identity truth and then it will b HaYa vs Society as thats the main crux of the entire Story 😳 ; This track has got the potential to even beat all trp records when IPL starts .. So its better to wrap up all unwanted tracks before IPL and focus on HaYa centric Society acceptance track ..
Apart from HaYa centric track , what also brings trps for particular episode r tender yet sensuous HaYa moments which we saw last week when Saumya saw a nightmare and cuddled in Harman's arms while he consoled her with his favourite love poem 😳 ; Such tender romantic moments between HaYa will always bring trps for that particular episode provided HaYa gets maximum screenspace in that episode and its not dominated by other unwanted side tracks ..
Also this Week , I loved the tea scene between HaYa when Harman was angry on Saumya and we saw Saumya making cute efforts to convince Harman to drink tea and in the process she end up burning her hand as tea spilled on her hand but then Harman despite being angry proved that he is really husband goals the way he rushed to bring jar of water to nurse Saumya's hand and then dip her hand in water , making sure if does not get burnt 😳 ;After that the way Harman apply oinment and blow air on Saumya's hand while looking at her with his seductive bedroom eyes and she too enjoying all the pampering of her protective hubby like a spoilt wifey in love was really a pleasure to watch and its these moments when shown in detail gets u the trps for that particular episode especially when such moments r show right in the start of the episode 😃
2) Shakti Trps = More HaYa Romantic moments which is beyond just Food Romance :
Even in HaYa moments , there is a need for improvement as its high time HaYa move beyond tea , golgappas and pulao romance 😆 ; Both hv confessed their love and there is no more awkwardness or hesitation in their relationship either , then whats really stopping the CVs from showing HaYa get more intimate and sensuous in their scenes ?? 🤔 ; With intimacy I dont mean love making scenes as I m well aware that HaYa cannot consummate since Saumya is a kinner and till her treatment track comes , its not possible to show any such scenes but as husband and wife cant Harman just give her a cheek kiss or neck kiss once in a while , is it so difficult ?? 🤔.. Also cant HaYa just cuddle in bed and sleep in each other's arms like normal couples do , is it so difficult ?🤔 ; Also cant Harman just pull or grab Saumya in his arms once in a while , is it so difficult ?? 🤔
Just today I saw a beautiful Lohri segment where HaYa r finally given a proper sensuous song-dance sequence where both r finally dancing like a couple in love .. This is exactly what I mean by intimacy and if regularly we get such HaYa moments in episode , then trps will never really slide below 2.7 ; The way Harman pulls Saumya in his arms while dancing and the way both dance in back hug position with Saumya closing her eyes in passion , thus feeling his smell and touch while he too sensuously smell her neck and cheeks during the dance is what I mean by intimacy between a husband and wife ☺️ .. When u hv such seasoned actors like Vivian and Rubina with such a sensuous chemistry thats so visible in this Lohri dance 👏 , then why stuck on food romance only? ;Why not give us such sensuous moments between them on a regular basis in their bedroom too 😳...Think about it 😛..
Even in Yesterday episode when HaYa went on a casual date , all they did was roaming around eating cheakpeas and candyfloss ; Why cant we get a romantic candlelight dinner instead ? 😳 ; There is no doubt that HaYa looked lovely together even while eating cheakpeas and chit-chatting 😆 but with little more creativity , u guys could hv created a more romantic atmosphere by showing a HaYa candlelight dinner and dance and then during dance Saumya gets blackmailer's call followed with the gunshot just to scare her .. So same scene could hv been written in a more romantic way along with the gunshot drama element ...This is what I mean when I say more romance and intimacy between HaYa along with all the drama 😳
3)Shakti Trps = More HaYa privacy and less interference of Preeto or other characters :
First it was Nani and Surbhi always interfering in HaYa scenes and now the latest entry is Preeto 😆..Please avoid bringing Preeto in every HaYa scene..We hv seen enough Saas Bahu bond & appreciate too for mking Preeto positive and accepting HaYa relation especially Saumya as her Bahu but now let HaYa hv their privacy too...I can give few examples where Preeto was not needed in a HaYa centric scene ..
First example is yesterday episode itself when Saumya is telling her hubby Harman not to go out as she was really scared after the shootout and also the blackmailing phone call but then Preeto arrives in their bedroom to console Saumya and divert her mind ..This is where I feel,Preeto was not needed to interfere as Harman was enough to console and cool her down as her husband ..Let some bedroom moments be private between both HaYa instead of including Preeto in every HaYa scene 😳
Also lets take another example of Kitchen scene when Saumya and Preeto together makes pulao on Harman's request ..When I say we need more sensuous HaYa scenes , I can give an example regarding how this same kitchen HaYa scene only which already aired can b made more sensuous by just simple touches of creativity..What we saw was Harman asking both Preeto and Saumya to make pulao but in this case Preeto should hv given some space to both HaYa and could hv asked HaYa to make pulao together while she will go from there ; Then after Preeto leaves , Saumya could hv started making the pulao while Harman could hv grabbed her from back and naughtily tried to feed her some dry fruits which one needs in pulao 😳 ; This same pulao romance could hv become more sensuous minus Preeto's interference and with just HaYa in kitchen 😳.. Think about it 😛
4)Shakti Trps= No use of Dupes/BodyDoubles in HaYa scenes :
When u hv such dedicated actors like Vivian and Rubina , then why do u need to spoil their scenes together by using body doubles and spoiling the essense of a HaYa scene ..If there is any issue regarding their schedules , then plss fix it but dont spoil cruicial HaYa scenes by using dupes or body doubles in their place ; This has been the problem of this show right from the start and I dont think any show would hv used as many body doubles as we hv seen in Shakti show .. Initially one might think , general trp viewers wont realise whether its the actor or his/her dupe but trust me now its clearly visible on screen and one can easily guess when Vivina r together and when they r acting with each other's dupes as sometimes even the dupe's face is visible in the episode due to bad editing , so tell me will it not affect the trps when every single day dupes faces r visible in the main episode ??
In Tuesday Episode when Harman kissed Saumya's hand after the Pulao making scene , the essense was completely spoiled as we could clearly see Harman kissing hand of Saumya's dupe and Saumya too blushing looking at Harman's dupe ..
A scene looks elegant and classy when both Vivina perform together like see the Lohri dance segment .. How beautiful both look together on screen .. But if u perform the same scene with dupes/bodydoubles , then it does make a difference as one can easily guess its a dupe by seeing his/her back and then whole essense of a HaYa is spoiled because for us Vivina=HaYa , we feel connected to Vivina as HaYa and not their dupes .. In the long run , if use of dupes is not reduced or stopped , then it will definitely affect the trps ..
Upcoming track of Saumya's fear for Harman's life as she is being blackmailed for his life has loads of potential since finally we can see the possessive side of a wife for her husband , but the track will get completely spoiled if this use of dupes is not stopped at once .. So pls avoid dupes in this track & make it HaYa centric track with both fighting all enemies..Because of Dupes only yesterday's episode was completely spoiled even though storywise the episode was good as it was build up for Saumya's fear regarding Harman's life after the phone call , but even a good episode looked terrible because of constant use of Harman's dupe ...How can I connect with Saumya's fear if I can see her clearly talking to Harman's dupe and not Harman , thats where the scenes getting spoilt ..So plss avoid dupes in this important track
5) Shakti Trps = Saumya as a lover & wife for her Harmanji and not as a Social Worker thinking about everyone else except her husband :
In Yesterday's Episode
Harman to Saumya : U have time for everyone else except me ..For once forget all other relations and just become my Gulabo as I just want to talk about us and our future . 😳
Saumya to Harman : Today I m neither anyone's bahu nor anyone's beti, I m just your wife, your Gulabo..Lets sit on that bench and talk about us . 😳
Yes this is the Saumya we want to see in the upcoming track who is just Harman's Gulabo & not any social worker ..
We have seen enough of her as a Bahu and Beti , now time for her to prove that she is the best wife Harman can ask for 😳 .. I remember Harman in his drunk state did vent out his frustration about how one should never get a mahaan wife like Saumya who always thinks about other's happiness and forgets her husband's happiness ..This happened after Saumya took Harman's kasam that she will never reveal her identity in front of society ; She did that to save Preeto's marriage and thus fulfilled her duties as a bahu .. But what about her duties as a wife ? 🤔 ..Harman is right to question Saumya regarding what she wants because when he refused to reveal her identity out of fear , that time she was ready to leave him and today when he wants to reveal her identity in front of all , she is asking him to shut his mouth and dont say anything even though Preeto herself is fine with her divorce 😆 ; So he has reasons to feel frustrated and handicapped as his wife is calling all the shots without even asking him ; So now time for Saumya to rectify all these mistakes and show her real protective and possessive side for her Harmanji as a Wife ..
I feel this current is to show Saumya's protective and possessive side for her Harmanji as she will constantly fear for his life just how Harman was living in fear after witnessing kinner's death ...So its a role reversal track to show Saumya's similar fear and possessive side for Harman 😳..This is what I always wanted to see as Harman had shown enough love for his wife and proved himself time and again that he is the best husband any girl can ever get , so now its time for Saumya to show her protective side as a wife and prove that she too is the best wife any man can ever get 😳 .. This is the reason why I dont mind this track because I m sure everyone always wanted to see what all Saumya does to prove her love for Harman and this track is perfect to prove herself as a wife ..
She has to choose any one ..If she reveals her identity and save Harman's life , then it will lead to Preeto-Harak's divorce as Harak said and this can also cause misunderstanding between HaYa as Harman will wonder why suddenly she is revealing her identity after taking all those kasams and if she dont reveal her idenity then it will cause harm to Harman's life which willl again prove that Saumya only thinks about others well being but not about Harman ...So both ways Saumya will b at loss because if she reveal then Harman can misunderstand her and if she dont reveal then its danger to Harman's life ... Harman too was in similar dilemma during kinner death track where Saumya misunderstood him when he refused to reveal her identity but if he had revealed then it would hv been danger to Saumya's life .. So like I said role reversal track and whatever decision Saumya makes , it will cause her some harm .. It will b really interesting to see the climax of this track and how Saumya proves herself as a wife this time but I hope whatever mayb the climax , it should not lead to any misunderstanding or separation between HaYa as I want HaYa to come out really stronger after this track and this track could lead to sociery acceptance track next 😃...In short plss let Saumya for once just become Harman's wife and take a decision thus showing her protective and possessive side as a wife 😳..
.Shakti trps come from HaYa centric tracks and not tracks surrounding around Saas-Bahu or Beta-Maa , pls remember this 😳
6) Shakti Trps = End Mohini Track :
This is the most important need of the hour now as Mohini is a waste character who has no connection to HaYa story and her screentime is just disrupting the overall quality of the show ..Last week trps jumped to 2.7 because whole focus was once again on HaYa as Harman wanted to reveal Saumya's identity .. So its clear that Mohini does not really give trps because the weeks which r dominated by Mohini could only bring trps of 2.4-2.5 that too because of loyal viewers whereas the weeks where focus was on HaYa centric tracks , trps always showed jump of 2.7-2.8 .. If every week focus remains on HaYa then we can hv a stable viewership of 2.7-2.8 which can later rise to even 3 but with Mohini track its not possible and so its high time Mohini track comes to an end and we move ahead with more HaYa centric tracks ..
Family viewers feel disgusted to see the cheap scenes of a old married man and a brothel dancer and if family viewers dont tune in regularly then how can trps show a rise ? Trps will either become stagnent at one point or will slowly start sliding down .. So its better to end this disgusting Mohini track before IPL starts in March ..
Its no more funny to watch those creepy scenes of sanamji balamji and hand in hand even if the actors claim viewers r enjoying these disgusting scenes because clearly we viewers r not enjoying it at all .. If we tune in daily , its only because of our loyalty towards HaYa and also the curiosity surrounding HaYa , but even that wont last long if this Mohini track dont end before IPL ..In IPL I will hv a better option than tolerating balamji sanamji crap 😊 ..
So these r the 6 pointers feedback which I feel can b improved and improvised for better trps of the show and also for better entertainment of viewers and HaYa fans 👍🏼 .. Reason why I give more importance to HaYa as a couple than individual characters is because at the end of the day Shakti is a love story and every daily soap today is working on a particular couple only whether its Ishra for YHM or Kaira for YRKKH or Shivika for IB or Preeran for KB or Abhigya for KKB or Sukor for Udaan .. So similarly HaYa is for Shakti 😳 .. Its a couple which in today's times brings trps for the show as I can see in most top 10 shows except mayb a Tarak Mehta which is just an exception .. So thats the reason I feel only a HaYa centric track where both Harman and Saumya r given equal screenspace and where both fight for each other's love can take Shakti trps to 3 mark once again
Hope CVs take these above feedbacks and pointers in a positive way and give us a good upcoming track revolving around HaYa love story with strong Harman in action as the saviour and naive innocent Saumya becoming her husband's strength 😳

I feel this current is to show Saumya's protective and possessive side for her Harmanji as she will constantly fear for his life just how Harman was living in fear after witnessing kinner's death ...So its a role reversal track to show Saumya's similar fear and possessive side for Harman 😳..This is what I always wanted to see as Harman had shown enough love for his wife and proved himself time and again that he is the best husband any girl can ever get , so now its time for Saumya to show her protective side as a wife and prove that she too is the best wife any man can ever get 😳 .. This is the reason why I dont mind this track because I m sure everyone always wanted to see what all Saumya does to prove her love for Harman and this track is perfect to prove herself as a wife ..
She has to choose any one ..If she reveals her identity and save Harman's life , then it will lead to Preeto-Harak's divorce as Harak said and this can also cause misunderstanding between HaYa as Harman will wonder why suddenly she is revealing her identity after taking all those kasams and if she dont reveal her idenity then it will cause harm to Harman's life which willl again prove that Saumya only thinks about others well being but not about Harman ...So both ways Saumya will b at loss because if she reveal then Harman can misunderstand her and if she dont reveal then its danger to Harman's life ... Harman too was in similar dilemma during kinner death track where Saumya misunderstood him when he refused to reveal her identity but if he had revealed then it would hv been danger to Saumya's life .. So like I said role reversal track and whatever decision Saumya makes , it will cause her some harm .. It will b really interesting to see the climax of this track and how Saumya proves herself as a wife this time but I hope whatever mayb the climax , it should not lead to any misunderstanding or separation between HaYa as I want HaYa to come out really stronger after this track and this track could lead to sociery acceptance track next 😃...In short plss let Saumya for once just become Harman's wife and take a decision thus showing her protective and possessive side as a wife 😳..
.Shakti trps come from HaYa centric tracks and not tracks surrounding around Saas-Bahu or Beta-Maa , pls remember this 😳
6) Shakti Trps = End Mohini Track :
This is the most important need of the hour now as Mohini is a waste character who has no connection to HaYa story and her screentime is just disrupting the overall quality of the show ..Last week trps jumped to 2.7 because whole focus was once again on HaYa as Harman wanted to reveal Saumya's identity .. So its clear that Mohini does not really give trps because the weeks which r dominated by Mohini could only bring trps of 2.4-2.5 that too because of loyal viewers whereas the weeks where focus was on HaYa centric tracks , trps always showed jump of 2.7-2.8 .. If every week focus remains on HaYa then we can hv a stable viewership of 2.7-2.8 which can later rise to even 3 but with Mohini track its not possible and so its high time Mohini track comes to an end and we move ahead with more HaYa centric tracks ..
Family viewers feel disgusted to see the cheap scenes of a old married man and a brothel dancer and if family viewers dont tune in regularly then how can trps show a rise ? Trps will either become stagnent at one point or will slowly start sliding down .. So its better to end this disgusting Mohini track before IPL starts in March ..
Its no more funny to watch those creepy scenes of sanamji balamji and hand in hand even if the actors claim viewers r enjoying these disgusting scenes because clearly we viewers r not enjoying it at all .. If we tune in daily , its only because of our loyalty towards HaYa and also the curiosity surrounding HaYa , but even that wont last long if this Mohini track dont end before IPL ..In IPL I will hv a better option than tolerating balamji sanamji crap 😊 ..
So these r the 6 pointers feedback which I feel can b improved and improvised for better trps of the show and also for better entertainment of viewers and HaYa fans 👍🏼 .. Reason why I give more importance to HaYa as a couple than individual characters is because at the end of the day Shakti is a love story and every daily soap today is working on a particular couple only whether its Ishra for YHM or Kaira for YRKKH or Shivika for IB or Preeran for KB or Abhigya for KKB or Sukor for Udaan .. So similarly HaYa is for Shakti 😳 .. Its a couple which in today's times brings trps for the show as I can see in most top 10 shows except mayb a Tarak Mehta which is just an exception .. So thats the reason I feel only a HaYa centric track where both Harman and Saumya r given equal screenspace and where both fight for each other's love can take Shakti trps to 3 mark once again
Hope CVs take these above feedbacks and pointers in a positive way and give us a good upcoming track revolving around HaYa love story with strong Harman in action as the saviour and naive innocent Saumya becoming her husband's strength 😳
