I m really afraid to write a take on yesterday's episode because mayb I m one of those in the minority who just loved the episode when it comes to execution and top notch acting by both Vivina 😎.. So please dont throw tomatoes and shoes at me if I praise the scenes 😆 as I felt the direction was beautifully done , almost like a poetry in motion especially when Saumya starts running away from him and Harman stands still there as if the time just freezed for him when he realised for the first time that its not worth running behind her anymore as she will never come back with him on her own wish ... It was a moment I really loved mayb because I love watching pain on screen in a love story 😆😳 ..
I loved the scene not because Saumya ran away from him but because Harman unlike previous times does not run after her and thats what made the scene so impactful for me 👍🏼 .. Once again intelligent Harman was at display as he realised that running after her will not really solve the problem , but he will hv to practically think of a plan to get her back to India and so he decides to buy her in auction so that she is left with no choice but to return back with her 👍🏼 .. This reminded me of his dialogue in India when he told himself that "let me see how much u can run away from me , I will still reach to u and get u back" .. Well thats exactly what he will do now 😎
Yesterday's episode raised lots of questions in my mind as a viewer .. And my today's take will b based on 5 main questions that came to my mind while I was watching one of the most controvertial HaYa episode till date ..
1st Question ..Was Saumya Wrong ?
The reply that came to my mind was .. Hell Yes .. She was not just wrong but she actually committed a sin and presented a bad example by deciding to sell herself instead of going back with her husband 👎🏼 .. No matter how many misunderstandings r developed in your mind about your husband , but this is no way justified that u will prefer to sell your body over returning back with your husband ; I m not even convinced by her identity excuse because honestly what identity she will get by selling herself ?? 😕; She will b sold with a lie that she is a girl and not a kinner , so here too her identity is being hidden to sell her beauty ,..How is this better than staying with Harman who wanted to hide her identity for a reason that she is still unaware of 🤔..
Saumya's anger has blinded her so much that she is ready to choose a hell for herself over Harman .. She knows its a hell .. she herself said it that its better I choose this hell over staying with Harman with a hidden identity when the irony is she is being sold with a hidden identity too which I guess she is not aware of 🤔 ..
Till Harman came in front of her , she was running for her life ..She wanted to get out of that hell and I liked her fighting spirit here when she successfully dodged those bodyguards and showed enough courage to come out of Maharani's den 👍🏼 ; It looked straight out of a fairytale book when she starts running on the streets of Bangkok in that blue gown and ends up hiding behind her knight in shining armour , her rakshak Harman 😳 , it was nothing but a soul call for her as her heart knew the back of this particular man only will protect her and well it turned out to b none other than her Harmanji's back who is not only her soulmate but her real backbone too 😳.. Till this moment it was all going fine for Saumya and I was loving her fighting spirit 👏 but the moment she sees Harman , her anger takes over and she goes in complete self destruction mode by running away from him and embracing that hell over her rakshak which is where I hated her the most because it was nothing but suicidal on her part ...
Though I m happy she dint cling onto Harman just for her safety as that will make her look like an opportunist but where she went totally wrong is when she decided to sell herself instead of being with her husband .. She could run anywhere but why go to that hell on her own ??
After what Saumya did yesterday , I really hope CVs write a proper redemption track for her once she realises her mistakes ..
2nd Question .. Why Harman dint run behind Saumya like before ?
Saumya's trigger point of anger was the moment when Harman said he loves her beauty but cannot fall in love with any random kinners , this is what resulted in Saumya leaving the house .. Similarly Harman's trigger point of anger will b yesterday's moment when he was completely stunned and shattered to see Saumya running away from him and choosing hell over her Rakshak for the first time , this shocking moment like I said will be freezed in his mind as he just stood there in disbelief and this is what resulted in Harman not running behind her for the first time after realising its not worth ...Just like Saumya keeps recalling Harman's words to charge up her anger , similarly Harman I feel will always recall this moment to charge up his anger from now onwards ..Now the sparks of anger will fly from both sides till Saumya realises and redeems herself 😎...
Till this point whenever Harman came to Saumya's rescue , she always went in his arms .. Remember the first 2 kidnappings ? .. It gave that extra confidence and self-belief to Harman that his Gulabo trusts him 😳 ; But yesterday it was just the opposite ; The moment he turns back , he was delighted to see his Gulabo right in front of his eyes ; He was extremely happy and cupped her face with so much of love just to let her know how he has come all the way to Bangkok just for her and has been fanatically searching for her , he even promised her to fulfill all her wishes and do everything that she wanted ; After this he was expecting same love , relief and happiness in her eyes but instead he saw her moving back in fear as if meeting him is no less than a nightmare for her ; He could not see that love and longing in her eyes , instead he sees anger and fear in her eyes as she moves away from him and then starts running away from him ; This was a big jolt for Harman because the person (Saumya) who till now always gave him that strength and confidence of being her Rakshak by always hiding herself in his arms , is today scared to go in his arms and instead runs in opposite direction away from her same Rakshak 😭 ; For a moment he just could not believe in his eyes as he keeps watching her run far away from him without stopping but slowly he looks down and starts introspecting on what just happened and after sometime his expressions suggested that he realised how he has lost her trust completely and so more he runs after her , more she will go far away from him , reason why this time he does not run after her and instead makes peace with himself that time to start everything from the scratch .. This is where he decides to buy her and give her a taste of her own medicine as she wanted to get sold , so fine , let me be the buyer 😎 ;
So this is what I conclude about Harman's next move now after facing this bitter shock of his life ,..When Saumya ran away from him I saw Harman introspecting standing there & not running after her because he realised he will hv to rebuild it all ; But to rebuild it he will hv to become the opposite of what he is now that is turn into a tough ruthless man who will call the shots and not give in to Saumya's whims and fancies till she realises his value ; I m sure he will now decide against telling the society about her truth either till she starts trusting him again because when there is no trust from her side , whats the use of making sacrifices or fulfilling her demands ?? 🤔 .. And in this case I m fully with Harman 👍🏼
In precap we can already see that ruthless man in Harman if u look at his eyes😉 .. Saumya belnogs to him and he will claim her by hook or by crook .. Enough of running behind . Time to show who is the boss 😎..Loved that look of Harman .. he looks ruthless and those eyes spitting venom .. like he wants to tell Saumya run as much as u want , but I will get u back 😎
3rd Question .. Did I love the Episode despite all the disgust , pain and heartbreak ??
Yes I loved it .. I m a sucker when it comes to watching pain and heartbreak in a love story 😆especially when u hv such wonderful actors like Vivian and Rubina portraying different layers of emotions and making it look so real that we r strongly feeling for the characters today .. Whether its the pain we feel for Harman or the hatred we r feeling for Saumya , its because the actors r able to perform these emotions perfectly 👏 ; How beautifully both enacted the scene of their meeting on the roads of Bangkok 👏 , whether its Harman's expressions depicting that sense of relief and happiness seeing her followed by disappointment and heartbreak or whether its Saumya's expressions depicting that sense of disbelief and shock seeing him suddenly in Bangkok followed by her extreme anger and hurt , both were excellent in the scene and this is where I loved the episode as it focussed just on both and their emotions 😳 ..
Also the direction was top notch especially that slow motion run of Saumya first running away from the hell and then running towards the hell leaving her Harmanji standstill created such strong impact that we feltl a strong pain in our hearts watching this scene and this is where I give it to the writers and the director for making it so impactful 👍🏼...
So even though the episode was extremely painful to watch as we see Saumya on a self destructive mode , I enjoyed the overall flow of the episode as there was no interruption with any other unwanted drama .. But I want to make it clear that loving the episode does not equals to Loving Saumya .. I hated her actions and my heart went out to Harman but I loved the fact that the episode was able to generate such extreme emotions in me for the first time ...
4th Question .. What was the need of showing this disgusting drama of Saumya selling herself over going back to Harman ??
This is the most controvertial question which I m sure is in everyone's mind , so well I m no different 😆 ..I asked this question to myself as well after the Episode .. My personal wish was Saumya running away from Harman but not towards Maharani's Den .. She could run away anywhere and then let Maharani's goons come and take her instead of she willingly going back and deciding to sell herself .. It was definitely a disgusting way of taking things forward 👎🏼..
But having said that I then started looking at things from a future point of view .. We all wanted Harman to b angry on Saumya till she realises and redeems herself but the way Harman is shown mad for his Gulabo , there is no way he can b angry on Saumya , unless something extreme happens and this is where the extreme twist was brought to turn Harman into an angry young man ; So yes Saumya's character is compromised here to turn Harman into a angry young man as this is the only way Harman can actually b angry on her 🤔..
Another point here is if CVs dint show Saumya ready to sell herself , then Harman wont b able to buy her either and this will mean end of the misunderstanding phase as Harman will just fight the goons and rescue her like he always did , then bring her back to India , tell her truth to society , MU over , back to pulao romance 😆 ; Only way to carry forward this love-hate track is by showing Harman too equally getting angry on Saumya for her actions and deciding against telling her truth to society and then both HaYa can pull each other's hair out in their room which gives way for an interesting love-hate track filled with the c***ches of pull-push-pinning etc etc which we might claim is shown in every soap but lets b honest , we still love to see it on our fav couple ..right ?? 😉😆 ..
So for above reasons , Saumya is compromised right now .. But I hope CVs will write a good redemption track for her in future after she realises her mistakes ..Personally I wish this disgusting twist was avoided in yesterday episode and they could hv bring some other twist for a love-hate track but then I dunno if any other twist would hv resulted in Harman's anger on Gulabo .. This was the only twist that can make him feel angry and disgusted like we r feeling now .. so well it will always remain a debatable twist .. 🤔
5th Question : Does Harman deserve Saumya ?
Right now after what she did , Nope he does not deserve her .. But then hello , who r we to decide if he deserves her or not .. We cannot become Preeto and take decisions for Harman .. right ? 😆 Its Harman who has to decide if Saumya deserves him or not because its his life and he has the right to decide with whom he wants to stay .. Noone understands Saumya better than Harman , not even us .. So I really want to see after yesterday , how Harman interacts with Saumya and shows her the right path ..
This is the most interesting phase in HaYa's life I feel and it will prove whether Saumya truely deserves a gem like Harman or not .. Saumya has to become deserving in Harman's eyes for viewers to start connecting with her again but when it comes to Harman's life decisions , I will let him decide whom he deserves instead of taking a decision for him 😳
