Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii: 17th Jan - Written Update
Part 1
Varun comes back to the house and Harman prohibits him from coming. Preeto tries to make Harman understand that the stars of our house are wrong, they're trying to fix it but he should let bygones be bygones! Harman doesn't agree! Soumya intervenes and requests Harman to let Varun stay. Whatever he did was to protect his family and she knows what its like to live without one. Harman walks away. Varun turns to leave but Preeto stops him and asks him to come back inside.
Maninder, Bebe and Beeji return home and Maninder calls out to Surbhi to bring him water. Beeji reminds him that Surbhi is in her home now. Maninder tells Bebe that the house is so empty without her. Her voice and everything echoes all over here. Beeji brings him water and asks him call Surbhi. Surbhi is trying to fit her clothes in the wardrobe but is failing desperately. Soumya sees this and offers to help. Surbhi gets a call from Maninder and is happy to talk to him. Soumya gets unhappy remembering how Maninder never called to check up on her. Surbhi cuts the call midway so that Soumya doesnt feel bad. Soumya says it is fine. She is habituated to it.
Varun drops by to inform how hurt he was to see Surbhi marry Harman. He wanted her and thats all. She could've denied marrying him but she shouldn't have married Harman to spite him. Surbhi gets angry and slaps Varun. She says that she is the wife of his elder brother, next time she'll slap him in front of everyone!
Harak is doing push-ups when Viren comes in to ask for a mobile as Shanno provokes him. Harak chides him that Viren is such a joru-ka-ghulam. He asks Preeto to hand over the phone. Shanno grabs it and thanks Preeto. Viren tries to justify that he isnt a joru ka ghulam.
Harma comes back to his room and sees Surbhi's clothes in his wardrobe and throws them away. Surbhi asks what is he doing! Harman says that this is his room. Surbhi asks where will she keep her stuff. Harman replies that he doesn't care.
Part 2
Soumya comes in to talk to Surbhi and sees the clothes on the bed. Surbhi quickly handles the situation. She says she'll wash all of them first and then put them back. Harman stops Soumya from leaving. She says she needs to help Surbhi with the clothes. Harman asks why is she avoiding him. Is there no relationship between them? And if not, why has she still etched his name on her hand. Preeto eavesdrops. Soumya returns to her room crying. She questions Harman's photograph about the only thing he keeps asking. The truth changes for a normal human being and a transgender. She wishes she wasn't a kinnar..because she loves him so much!
Part 3
Preeto comes to her room and informs her that last time she checked she was a kinnar. She can't do anything about it. But she could help. The name that she has etched on her hand, she believes that Soumya would herself remove it one day. She offers her a knife and says that one day she will remove the name herself.
Precap - Kareena visits Soumya and asks for her help. Raavi drags Soumya out of the house but Harman asks her to stop!
