She doesn't know where she is getting this confidence, that small head of confidence which is pushing down the big head of fear into the deepest parts of her mind. Preeto however got angry " What are you speaking girl? Are you gone mad?"

Soumya felt her fear coming back again, she pushed it down "Nahi Maa ji, I can't force a person to act against his will. Harman di doesn't wish to do what you want him to do."

Preeto looked at Soumya as if she is looking some new animal 'Then what about us, we all are losing our faces because of all this. What about us girl?"

Soumya sighed " Maa ji, my relation to this family comes from my relation with Harman ji, I can't choose you people above him now can I. You can deal your problems with Harman ji."

Preeto got much more angrier by every minute, she raised her hand to slap Soumya, who stopped Preetos hand "Maa ji, I am already week, I don't have energy for this. I need to get breakfast for Harman ji." She tried to leave however Preeto stopped her and shouted at her "Get out of this house right now." Harman came out of his room at the commotion and Soumya gave him a small smile but her eyes are void of emotion when she looked at Preeto "Mummy ji, I already told you, I am related to you people through my husband, who have the rights over me. I will leave this house only when my husband tell me to"Preeto mimicked a fish when she gaped at her and Harman was also shocked. Soumya however ignored Preeto and looked at Harman " You please go and rest, I will get you your break fast." Harman looked at her shocked while Preeto muttered to herself some thing along Senseless...

Superb piece dear 👏👏👏 I hope the way you have shown Saumya as a person who for once wants to get selfish and think about her hand Harman's happiness , as a woman who is not that strong to fight Preeto but is also not that weak to submit herself to idiotic and senseless demands of Preeto , if in the same way the CV's would have shown Saumya , then the show would have actually made sense in terms of educating society .

Loved this portrayal by Saumya who for once took a stand for herself and for the immense love Harman has for her , rather than insulting Harman's love by going far away from him . 👏👏
