Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii - 16th Aug: Written Update

Varun flirts with Surbhi on how he will miss her now that she is leaving. Surbhi says I was here for Soumya di, not for you. Varun says how will I live. Surbhi says why not? Your whole family is here. Later, Varun enters the room drunk and asks the bottle as to why did he make him drink so much. He throws the bottle and says that Harak Singh wastes money on his pleasures but when it came to my mother's wedding, got her married in a poor family which is why I always lived in poverty. Wore Harman's clothes, played with his toys but not anymore. Surbhi is his pawn for revenge. Marrying her will make him Harman's equal and then I will take my revenge on this family.

Next morning, Nimmi and Surbhi bid goodbye. Varun flirts with Surbhi and she doesn't reciprocate. Nimmi asks Harman to take care of Soumya. Preeto taunts that its not like we'll kick her out as soon as you go. All girls go to their in-laws house after wedding, Soumya's no 8th wonder. Harak assures that Soumya is like their daughter.

Preeto asks if Soumya can cook now that her mother is gone and drama is done. Harman warns that he wouldn't touch food if Soumya cooks it. On the table, Soumya serves him roti but Harman refuses. Harak and Preeto don't understand. Harman asks Raavi to serve him. Raavi says you got a wife now why should I serve. Preeto asks Raavi to sit down and tells Harman that Soumya is serving the family so she'll serve him too. Harman says won't eat. Preeto says you will. Harman says if she serves him food, I will throw it away. Preeto says I'll see how you do that. Harak advises Harman to not be stubborn because once Preeto gets adamant about anything, it's better not to go against her. Preeto orders Soumya to serve and Harman to eat. Harak tells him that the feuds must be kept within the confinements of their room. Also don't go against your angry mother. Harman starts eating and Preeto asks everyone to eat. Harak appreciates Soumya's cooking.

Later in the room, Harman is disgusted and angry and starts breaking things. He cannot control his anger when Soumya enters and is shocked to see him so angry. She tries to say something but Harman asks her to get out. She stays and he almost pounces on her and says that I see my mistakes in you. The mistake of knowing you, falling in love with you. Stay here for as long as you like but don't you dare come near me. Now get out. Soumya asks God that she hasnt done anything to deserve this.

Varun asks if Harak summoned the photographer. He calls everyone to come down. Harak says he called him for a family photo. Harman says so many pics already are hung. Harak says need one with Soumya. Harak and Preeto take the center. Preeto asks Soumya to come in. They are standing apart and in an awkward position. Harak says now just of Harman and Soumya. Harman says what's the need? Preeto says these are memories. To show your kids. They stand apart. The photographer asks Harman to put his hand on her shoulder. He clicks multiple pics and then asks Soumya to hold him. As soon the photographs are done, Harman asks him to leave. Thr photographer says just one with him holding Soumya's waist. Harman leaves. Preeto asks Soumya if their feud is a war at the border. Go and pacify him.

In their room, Harman warns her that he can't throw her out everytime. Soumya says you hate me but for your mother and father who love you and your happiness is important for them. Please come down for them. I will go away after 16 days, won't show my face. I am grateful that youve let me stay..wont forget that. But for his family's sake, come with me.

Precap- Preeto appreciates Soumya's cooking and advises her to put some of this love to mend her relationship with Harman. Raavi says that something is not right as my brother keeps so sad because of her.

Later, Soumya brings food for Harman and says everyone else has eaten. Harman throws the food and says I've told you multiple times to stay away from me. Dont act like my wife when you can't be one. Raavi is eavesdropping.
