Saw Qubool Hai while surfing channels in a hospital room booked for my father for when he would come out of CCU, and was intrigued by the chemistry between the actors who I now know are KV and SJ.
Unfortunately my father did not make it and looking for mindless entertainment, I discovered Hindi serials. Saw QH and Geet and they were just the mindless drivel that I needed.
Moved onto MEIEJ and was bowled over by the writing -the sheer audacity of creating someone as crazy as RK.
Fell in love with VD as he enacted psycho RK to perfection.
While it was the writing that was my initial attraction to the show, it's the actor whose shows I follow. I haven't seen anything else by the makers of MEIEJ.
I find Shakti very shoddily crafted, -my benchmark here is MEIEJ.While the story itself may be interesting, the way it is being told leaves a lot to be desired. And now the new promo with Nimmi asking Surbhi to stop Haya SR -who writes this kind of shit.
So my question is what matters to you guys the story or the actors?
Will you continue watching for your fav even if you don't like the story?
I am not sure of my own answer here.
