First time I saw him he was wearing a black suit and white shirt, appearing like a perfect gentle man with a mask on his face. Now don't think as if I am checking him out or as such, he came and stood infront of me, offering me a rose. His first words to me were "Will you marry me?" I don't even know him, and who he is but he is proposing me! I looked around to see if any one is playing some sick joke on me,finding none I checked if it is April first in my watch, but its not too, All this while he stood in front of me patiently, I did only one thing I can " Who are you?"
He smiled to me and answered patiently "That will defy the purpose, doesn't it?" His smile, For first time I felt some thing deep with in me an unexplainedfeeling and I found my self saying "Yes" . He again gave me that smile and asked me my name. Immediately I regained my self "What rubbish is this? You don't even know me and I can assure you this is first time I ever saw you. I am not in habit of accepting marriage proposals from unknown. " All the while he kept smiling what a weird character is this person. Is he mad? "Ouch" I looked into the person I bumped and "Aish... I know you are strong no need of any remembrance" Aish too rubbing her head "Su! why are you hell bent on killing me on my sisters marriage "
I scowled "Thats what my problem isn't it, this is your cousin sisters marriage where you your self are a guest and here you brought me with you"
Aishwarya being the bubbly girl laughed "Chillaz girl, come and enjoy"
She dragged me on to the dance floor and seeing its a Bhangra which happens to be my favorite dance I joined the circle and I again came across that man who happened to be my pair for dance. He as usual giving me that smile which i want to wipe off from his face. We continued to do the claps and twirls while he again spoke "You didn't answer me"
"There is nothing to answer mister" I came off from dance floor and went towards exit feeling his smiling gaze on me all the while.

Two days after...
"No Aishwarya, just shut it will you" I groaned...
Aishwarya shook me " Whats happening to you Su. Why are you out of space today. Not today since two days you are like this."
I mumbled "Nothing Aish" After all I can't say her that some stranger came to me and gave me my dream proposal and its bothering me a lot.
Aish spoke to me for a while and later I headed for my first day duty as intern. Unfortunately because of the Metropolitan Traffic I came in nick of time, instead of my early coming habit. Cursing once again traffic and my fate , I headed to the Superintendent office, where generally all other interns will be present. Since this is a new environment, I has to ask a few people for directions but finally I got them and I headed to the third floor where I will be meeting my new work mates.
First of all let me clear you, Medicine for me is never a passion nor is it a service plan for me as other doctors used to boast, nor do I have any illusions about said noble profession. Even today when I read in news papers how the entrance toppers tell that they want to be a Cardio surgeon, I can't help but laugh til I choke. But along with that laugh I can't help but pity them for entering into the world of hell and politics.Five years in my Med college taught me the truth of this world, where getting MBBS seat is not the end of problems but a gateway for a bigger world of Problems, stress, and hard work. I still remember my +2 days when my teachers used to tell us "If once you get a Medical seat, all your problems will end. You can relax completely", My class mates used to believe it and I used to pity them because as soon as we come into MBBS we will know that to be a respectful doctor, or one of the top earning ones just doing MBBS is not enough but after MBBS there is another 7 years of study...
Shaking my thoughts I went into the superintendent office, where I was announced that the meeting was already over, and duties are about to start, cursing my bad luck, I started to run into Emergency ward where I was supposed to be assigned first and in my haste fell down on some thing. I can feel pain on my head, some thing got into me , may be glass piece and yup is it blood? I can't make it clearly as I blacked out.

Third Person POV...
Some might think that Dr.Harman is a cruel guy, of course he is called as Sadist for nothing , but one can never question his professionalism , his zeal to save his patients. This was one such scenario, where he was getting hit by a young woman while he was suturing her , and she was calling him all sorts of profanities and making all sorts of ruckus. As he completed suturing the cut on her head, he administered a mild pain killer which relaxed her and she fell into sleep.
"Chief"
'Yes Sister Maria"
"Chief new interns are about to arrive"
Harman sighed "I will meet them in half an hour"
Maria smiled "Its okay Dr. Please grab some thing, You stayed awake whole night for sake of the poisoning patient"
Harman grunted and left down where he will meet his first intern who thinks he is a doctor.

Sourab is normally a calm guy who is jovial, but today he is about to start his internship and was a bit excited, add to it his friends prompting, he was with a girl infront of an elevator "Hi"
She gave a slight smile "Yes"
Sourab extended his hand "I am Dr.Sourab Krishna one of chief surgeons here, may I grab your phone, I need to make a call to my colleague and my phone's dead"
She smiled and handed him her phone with which he made a call to a number and immediately gave her back her mobile , Harman shook his head looking at , he say the guys phone blinking in his back pocket as he dialed from girls phone. Certainly its none of his business. He entered elevator calmly with those two people following him inside.
Harman wanted to shout at the guy, immediately after entering the elevator he continued to flirt with the girl whose name turned out to be Surbhi. It was grating on his nerves what with him being tired and doing night duty. He was on duty straight for 48 hours, god should show some mercy on him. But no now he has to deal with these new interns who just think they are top on the world because they passed their Final MBBS.He kept a stoic face out side but inwardly he is scowling.
As elevator reached the floor where his office is located he gave a groan of relief leaving the elevator, but frowned as the couple followed him. He entered his office room and sat there making himself mentally prepared. After ten minutes he asked Maria to call the interns inside. Few minutes later he heard shuffling of steps out side his foot door and looked up, they all are discussing who will go first, he got irritated what are they ? five year old kids standing out side Principals office? he barked them all to get inside with in three seconds or they will be failed. They all got in finally and he gave them their regular instructions, before stopping infront of Sourab who was now literally frightened "So Mr. Chief Surgeon, why are you debasing your self to stand with interns. " He gulped "I am sorry " Harman raised his eye brow , Sourab sighed and said again "I am sorry Chief". Harman nodded but smirked "Do a 72 hour duty as your punishment, at least then you will know what chief surgeons undergo through." Sourab looked angry but didn't comment. He then turned to Surbhi " What did you come here for? Fashion show? Why are you leaving your hair loose and whats with your dress, do you want to make kids cry with all that gaudiness. I swear if even one of my patient got infected because your chamkis and all, I will make sure you never even call your self a medico again, lest be a doctor. " She nodded bowing her head. He then took the count and saw one person missing , that made him even more angrier when a girl came inside crashing " I am so... sorry sir."
Harman looked at her and she was the patient he treated earlier the girl who hit him, he wanted to kill her right then 'What are you doing here?" he asked in a dangerously low voice . She is clutching the edge of table so that she can stand straight and spoke in a low voice " I am sorry sir , I am late. But I am supposed to report you as new intern . I came to your office here but I was told that you are in ward but on the way I got injured, then some one gave me a painkiller which made me drowsy sir. But I came here as soon as I can.. I am sorry for being late sir, i will never be late again sir." Harman looked at her astounded and looked at list he had "Are you Soumya Goyal?" Soumya nodded still standing and every one around her are looking at her astonished. He growled at them to get out and when Soumya turned to leave he asked her to stop and sit. He came by her side "Miss Soumya, I am the person who treated you. I gave you a sedative painkiller for a reason, that you can stay in your bed. Why the hell did you come here running, looks like your wound re opened." He pointed to the blood trickling from side of her head and she sighed. She spoke in a low voice " I am just frightened that I might lose my internship sir. I don't want to be late on my first day. " He nodded and started to clean her wound which opened partly and restitched it. All the while she sat there patiently clutching her grip tightly, he looked at her strangely "Why aren't you screaming at me like you did before. Aren't you in pain" Soumya didn't speak any thing but remained silent. Harman repeated his question again when she spoke " I am not supposed to shout at my senior sir. "
Harman sat there and laughed hard. He took some time to stop laughing "God gave us a will so that we can express what we feel. While its nice to respect others, it won't do to do it overly. Have a speed recovery. I grant you a three days leave so that you can stay in ward and recuperate. Don't worry nothing will happen to your internship." She nodded and fell there, obviously she was holding the effects of her sedative all this while . He called Maria asking her to make Soumya sleep in his sleeping room till they shift her to a ward. Maria nodded and laughed after hearing whole story and took her inside.
He came out from his office room and passed every ones duty schedules to them along with a map of hospital. He wished they would be as dedicated as the girl inside.
