The seed called writing sprouted just a single, solitary leaf when I was young and sprouted another sibling leaf when I learned to read and write English and Tamil. The seed neither withered nor slumbered but instead stayed dormant and yet all the time absorbing the nourishment it needed from what it saw and heard for then and for harsher times.

I gently removed the tender, two leaf sapling from my soul and transplanted it onto a page and fed it ink and thoughts and in return, it gave me a bountiful harvest of sentences that although incoherent at first soon began to take shapes.

I am a farmer that cultivates the fertile soul and it keeps throwing up new varieties of seeds and thus new stories filled with new characters are born and rise to tell their own experiences.

Trust me when I say that I have asked myself many a thousand times as to why I feel this urge, need, craving to put down into words my thoughts and fears and I regret to say that I have no proper answer and for the time being this rather simple explanation should hopefully suffice.

Writing is a way of sharing, a way to express the conflicts in one's soul, a means to make sense of ones life and journey through the same, a way to solve this riddle called life, love and needs and what it all means in the end when we all go to meet death.

For me, writing is like singing at the top of my house and in a wavelength that is below or above the hearing range of others and becomes visible only when the lyrics of that song are put down as words and creation.

Maybe we all have in us a secret pond where evil and ugly things germinate and grow strong. But our culture acts as a fence, and the swimming brood climbs up only to fall back. Might it not be that in the dark pools of some men the evil grows strong enough to wriggle over the fence and swim free? Would not such a man be our monster, and are we not related to him in our own hidden water? It would be absurd if we did not understand both angels and devils since we invented them. John Steinbeck

Raman watched Minister Vaidyanathan walk away towards the elevator with a few of his supporters and then made his way towards Kavita who was still stuck with many of the MP'S of their party and then Deputy chief minister OPS came towards her and asked her if she had anything for lunch and Kavita replied sadly that lunch was the last thing on her mind.

OPS in a very gentle voice " Kavitama, I know for certain that none of us can understand the depth of pain and sorrow that you must be feeling right now. But, it is not going to change anything and it is now all the more important that you keep faith in yourself and become stronger and more courageous than before for now you also carry the legacy of your brother on your young shoulders."

He looked at her with an inner and deeper meaning and spoke very softly " Now that Vijay has been snatched away from us, we and the party are now looking at you as the future and the one to lead us to greater glory. We all know that the death of our leader " Amma" has left us headless and weak but we can rise once again with leaders such as you. So, please come with us and have lunch with us for I am getting too old to be starving myself and remember that I am a diabetic patient."

Kavita was moved by her leader's words and agreed to have lunch with them. She requested them to go ahead while she finished talking to Raman, their family friend and advocate and told them that she would join them shortly.

Raman came up to her and Kavita casually asked if everything was okay in Chennai and when he looked at her in confusion, she pointed to his mobile phone " I saw you talking on the phone a few moments ago and assumed that it must be with your family."

" No, I was talking with my law firm and giving them instructions regarding some cases that are coming up next week."

Kavita looked at him and instantly knew something was wrong and realized that Raman had maybe just lied to her and when she tried to read his eyes and expression, he looked away and stared into the distance and even with his face turned away from her, she knew that his mind was clouded with anger and some other dark thoughts.

" Raman, I am joining my people and Deputy CM OPS for a late lunch and it would be nice if you could join us too as I can use the moment to formally introduce you to all of them."

Raman did not even turn towards her to reply and his focus somewhere else declined the invitation " Sorry Kavita, but I cannot right now for honestly I am not in the mood to meet people and I was thinking of having something sent up to my room and then taking a nap for I am feeling really tired and spent."

Kavita nodded and smiled " Okay, maybe we can meet up later in the night for dinner if it is not too much of a problem for you."

" Sure, dinner sounds just fine but in here and not anywhere outside for the press has amassed itself outside this building and are circling like buzzards for a word from you.

Kavita touched his arm and Raman turned now to face her and she told him " Thank you, for being here with me for I am not sure if I could have managed all this by myself. Me and my family are really blessed and lucky to have you with us. I don't know how I am going to repay this debt of friendship and love that you have gifted us with."

" No debt Kavita. As before, and now I consider you and your family as my own. If you suffer then it is my duty to be there to help you and stand by you, shoulder to shoulder and even if it means entering the gates of hell itself."

Kavita saw the rage building inside his eyes and saw them as they shimmered and danced like avenging gods and his handsome face turn dark as he snarled " There is still much left to do Kavita. An eye for an eye and lives for every life of mine that I love and respect."

Composing himself, Raman now looked at her with his normal, calm and gentle look and told her " Go now and have your lunch and we will meet up later in the night for dinner."

He waited for Kavita to join the others for lunch and once sure that she was safe and out of harm's way, turned and headed in the direction of the elevator and was mildly surprised to see Minister Vaidyanathan standing there with a few of his followers and knew that it was not by chance but only by plan.

Minister Vaidyanathan folded his hands humbly and greeted Raman " Iyaa vanakkam. My name is Vaidyanathan and I am also a cabinet minister. Pleased to meet you, sir."

The half a dozen men with Minister Vaidyanathan were totally unaware of the enmity and the oscar level acting performance that their leader was putting on display, stood beaming with pride and in awe of their leader's humble attitude and one party man remarked to Raman "Our leader and our big brother gives a lot of respect for educated people, just like namma puratchi thalaiavar MGR."

It took only a moment but Raman slipped into his act and returned the vanakkam and replied " Sir, my name is Raman and of course I know who you are sir for you are a very famous and popular politician."

Both stood smiling at each other and only they knew what was going on in the other's mind and soul.

Raman's instincts had never failed him and they did not fail now for Minister Vaidyanathan revealed with a casual inquiry as to his ulterior motive of waiting near the elevator for him.

Vaidyanathan with tears in his eyes spoke to Raman " Vijay's father was like my younger brother and I always treated Vijay and Kavita like my own children. My heart feels broken at the loss of such a young and promising leader's life and I hope that they catch the culprits who did this horrible crime?"

Raman shook his head " It will be nearly impossible sir for there are no eye-witnesses for the crime and also there is no motive. But I have been told that the investigation is being handled by a veteran CBI team and that the Prime minister himself is taking personal charge over this case."

Sighing sadly, he looked at Minister Vaidyanathan and his men " I hope they find the persons behind this crime and bring them to justice."

One of the men became highly emotional on hearing this and told Minister Vaidyanathan " Thalaiavare, you should do something regarding this for our Vijay has been brutally murdered. We can't just stand by and do nothing while the bas***ds and scum behind this evil act go free. We should stone those animals to death and feed them to the crows."

Vaidyanathan thought to himself " If you people knew that it was me behind this crime, then I bet you will be singing a different tune. Unfaithful dogs."

Raman looked at his enemy sadly " Sir, the criminal might escape now but they will not escape the judgment of God and a higher court."

Minister Vaidyanathan sadly but with a hint of sarcasm that was meant only for Raman said " All that is myth and fool's beliefs sir. For this is Kali kaalam and only the strong, evil and merciless people triumph and rule and not the weak and those who put their faith in God."

Raman folded his hands and said, " Sir, as long as we have leaders like you to protect us, I am sure our country will prosper and one day become the number one nation in this world."

The lift opened and Raman stepped in and then turned and facing the minister enquired with a lot of respect " By the way sir, my best wishes and blessings to you and your family. If your daughter had been here she would have given you a lot of comfort and support sir. Sad that she was taken away at such a young age and I hope that you spend more time with your Granddaughter who has come down from the United States."

Vaidyanathan's whole body felt like it had been set on fire and his soul raged at being taunted thus and controlling himself, folded his hands and said " Soon, I hope to bring home my granddaughter and give her a new life here in Chennai and I have been working on that and I am happy to tell you that nothing will stop me from being with my daughter who I believe has come back as my granddaughter."

Raman still with his hands folded said " all the best sir " and his eyes said " Not while I am still breathing and alive" and Vaidyanathan smiled and said " Thank you sir, " while his eyes blazed his reply " Soon, I will put an end to you and every one of my enemies and then we will see who wins."

Pirikka mudiyathathu ethu

Tamizhum suvaiyum matrum alla,Tamizhum, isaiyum athai rasikkum nammaiyum endrum pirikka mudiyathu.

Paatukku naradan matrum alla, Kannadasan, ViswanathanRamamoorthy, T. M. Soundararajan, P. Susheela, S. Janaki, Ilayarajavum, Spb, yesudasum aavar.

Light is sight. Sound is hearing. Sight is seeing. Sound is music. But both together make up feeling. What we feel when we see something? What we feel when we hear something? Feeling, yes and I say it again and again, feeling.

The early morning sun in its glorious colours of pink, orange and reds. The gurgle, chuckles of the waves as they rush in and out at the seashore. The chirps, caws, cries and morning roars of birds of all shapes and sizes. The clang of metal against metal at the gates by the milkmaid as she tries in vain to rouse the sleeping members of each house that she visits.

The beat of my heart as it races, thuds and then slows down in the dawn of a new day and even though I hear it, I still place my right hand on my chest and feel the vibration of my own pump as it beats with it own Rhythm.

The world has changed and the changes sometimes make me feel like an alien, a soul that has time-travelled into a different era.

But for me, the most significant change has been in the music I hear today and the music of the films that are created today.

I know that today's composers cannot be blamed for the kind of music that is asked of them and yet I do wonder if they are willing or capable of composing for one segment of the audience and the answer is yes.

All things today are commercial and are aimed at a certain segment of people and this includes movies and music.

If I am thankful for one thing that technology and the current digital age has ushered in, then it is YouTube and the
high-speed internet.

I just type in my desire in the search column and I am instantly transported back to my times, my favourite songs by my favourite composers.

Today, I cannot remember either the lyrics or which film a song is from for honestly I have neither watched it nor gathered information about it.

The songs of today have such limited span and sadly all of them sound the same. Some new and vague beat to which a singer not of Tamil culture singing to and also delivering it in such weird accents.

Personally, I think a great song is a perfect blend of the composer, songwriter and singer which is very rare to hear in today's film music.

I have no complaints and I also do not compromise my likes as I have a huge collection of my favourite music always ready and all it takes is a click of a playlist that I have personally built up and they belong to two eras.

The first era is made up of a combination of songs from old black and white films and the second one is made up of songs from the seventies to the late eighties and that is enough for me.

Of course, there are a few, very few songs from the nineties and the 21st century but like I said, few and sadly they are not a perfect blend of either music, lyrics or singing.

I love the lyrics of that song from the film ' Kodambakkam' which goes as

Ragasiyamanathu kathal miga miga
Ragasiyamanathu kathal
Ragasiyamanathu kathal miga miga
Ragasiyamanathu kathal

mugavari sollamal mugam thanai maraikkum
oru thalaiyakavum sugam anubavikkum
suvarasyamanathu kathal miga miga
suvarsayamanathu kathal

and also that song lyrics from the film ' Thambi'

Sudum nilavu sudaatha sooriyan
Odum nimisam uraiyum varusam
Ellam ellam ellam venduma
Kaadhalithu paar kaadhalithu paar

But, I, again and again return to my 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's hits and it is back to heaven. Some of my all-time favourite old songs are

Thuyiladha Penn Ondru- meenda sorgam
Thookkam Un Kangalai- Aalayamani
thullatha manamum thullum-kalyana parisu
roja malare- veerathirumagan

Then again, there are some songs that keep playing on and on and the joy they bring to my spirit never diminishes and each time and every time, I feel like I am listening to them for the first time and it is always a brand new experience.

Still, here I am with my top ten songs of the year 2018 and am sharing them with you and also hope that you will drop a line or message when you find the time to do so.

1995 to 2018

Vanitha, my cousin sister wanted to try her hand at acting and when she spoke to me about her passion for acting, I told her that a dear friend of mine was into photography. I told her that I would talk to him and find out if he could shoot a few pics of her.

Well, the dear friend was G.Venket Ram who without any hesitation agreed to shoot a portfolio of my sister and so it happened.

This was in the year 1995 and sometime during september or so and the portfolio took place in Venket's kutty studio in a space which he shared with Rubicon that was in Eldam's road and my junior from school Suri was Venket's assistant and learning the ropes about Photography.

The shoot went off well and then suddenly, Venket said " Dei satish, stand before me and let me see your mug" and my response was to flee and hide my mug.

Venket glared and I meekly stood as he clicked a few snaps and with that changed my life and gifted me a new destiny and future.

A few weeks later, he made me model for my very first ad which was for " Spic" and for the agency called Profad and the makeupman was Sampath anna.

The date of my first ad was November 22nd if i am not wrong and a few days later he called me for another ad and well, here I am 23 years later.

Whatever I am today is simply because of My wife Geetha, Venket, Sanjay and a few others who prefer to remain in the shadows of my soul.

Thank you Venket and sanjay and I remain in your debt, then, now and forever. Lots of love guys.

Christmas sonata on milk

They come, and only Jesus and mother Mary know where from and how far they travel to reach the shrine of Velankanni.

Like seasonal birds flocking in migration, they flock and reach Besant Nagar. Like the birds, variety to plays a large part in all of them.

Beggars, professional beggars, petty thieves and yes, filth of all kind that life and the public have shunned and turned a blind eye on them.

Christmas is a brief affair and at the most, a one night or a
two-night stand but the period around Good Friday and the time when the flag is hoisted in the during the month of July or August is a mini affair and which lasts all of 12 days or more.

At these times, the salt and fishy air of the area is taken over by the stench of humans and their waste and I will stop at that.

Christmas time and the sun rises late and only after 6.00 am. But, the gym where I pretend to work out opens like a perfect atomic clock at 5.45 am and as in 1997, I am still the first or second member to enter the gym.

In the darkness of the December morning, I activate the security alarm of my car and stand and sigh as I see the slumbering bodies on the opposite platform of all shapes and sizes and all fast asleep.

I carefully and on cat paws make my way across the road and then scoot up the stairs to the second-floor safety and privacy of the gym.

Sometimes, the whimpers and cries of a baby draw me towards the large windows of the gym and from my vantage point I look down on to the pavement below and see the small form kicking and flailing its tiny limbs.

The moon is full and a bright yellow and even though it is the reflected light of the nuclear sun, I look at it and wonder if the baby is being hurt or burnt by its cold and dead light.

An arm reaches out and turns the baby to its side and fills its tiny, wailing mouth with a nipple and milk and I smile and whisper " I hope you feed well and I hope you slumber with a full tummy."

It is nearly 7.00 am when I come down and the pavement is empty and silent but for the odd bus and bike that lumber past on lazy wheels on a cold, chilly but pleasant December morning.

I leave my gym bag in the car and then walk the short distance to the Rathnagireeshwarar temple to say hi and also to beg for a few favors for myself and for a few loved ones.

This is usually the time when the god is being bathed and readied for his morning appointments and customer care duties and then I hear the cries of the calf as it calls for its mother and for its morning milk.

The priest bathes the god with milk and the cow cries back to its calf " Hold on child, hold on. The pooja will soon be over and then you can drink to your heart's content."

I think back to the cries of the baby in the dark and how it was fed and I wondered if the cow would have any milk remaining in its breast for its calf after nearly most of it had been taken away.

Bye bye 2018 and hello 2019

The last days of December 2017 were spent by me shooting for the biopic of MGR and it is now 2018 and sadly there is no light at the end of the tunnel for this project.

The first few months of this year was spent in anticipation of the shooting resuming and ending with the completion of the film. I dubbed for the scenes of the film in good faith and highly motivated and then it began to dawn that I could not sit around wasting my time on something that might happen or might never happen or just might happen when I am as old as the late MGR. Sadly, he is late and his biopic is also very late.

But, you know what, MGR came, saw, conquered, ruled and left a mighty ruler and all this talks and topics of him and his bio-pics are just that, talk, talk, talk and nothing more.

I had gotten involved with this project with pure faith and trust and all the while my thoughts were only about extending the already glorious legacy of the great man and also tell his story in my own way, by which I mean, through my eyes and thoughts.

Well, that is now behind me and brushed away for the time when it will rise again and I will meet it then anew.

Sometime during April, I decided that I had to lose the weight that I had put on for the Bio-pic and with that began to run more and eat less and the extra five to six kilos began to wither away.

2018 was a good year when it came to modeling and I worked on some great ads with some very talented teams and I am happy to share with you that your forum friend Satish has not lost any of his skills, not yet.

July brought with it a project for Colors tv and I worked for the pilot episodes with great enthusiasm and waited excitedly for the channel's approval and for work to start.

I confess here that even while as I worked on the pilot episode, I realized sadly that the other artists were not of a very high standard and that there was a lot of mismatches in looks and performance and my worst suspicions came true.

The producer called me and said that they could not get a slot in colors tv and hence had approached Raj tv and that it looked promising and they would start shooting in the last weeks of October.

I groaned silently when I heard " Raj tv" and yet maintained my composure and the producer informed me that the channel had seen the pilot episodes and only I had been selected while many actors had been replaced and even their scenes were going to be reshot.

The producer requested my co-operation and said that they were banking a lot on my skills and I half-heartedly agreed.

October came and went and November came and the producer called me to confirm my dates and then it all went downhill.

The man asked me to reduce my already low salary and I gently declined and withdrew from the project and went back to staring at the blank wall and slate that was my life.

Then I called Actor Rajkanth who I have known for many years now and he told me that a few sun Tv producers were looking for actors for their new project and taking the numbers I got in touch with the Production executives and this is how " Kalyana Parisu happened."

Kalyana Parisu is being produced by Vision Times for whom I had worked in 2007 for a serial called " Vasantham" and the person I spoke to was Mr. Shreekanth.

The phone rang and I spoke " Good morning. Mr. shreekanth, Naa oru actor" and the reply was " Saar. satish saar. You might not remember me but I will never forget you and your voice."

I smiled " En voice avvalavau kevalamava irukku sir."

Shreekanth replied " Sir, I was in charge of dubbing for " Anandham", so I am very familiar with your voice."

I told him that I was looking for work and that it had been a long time since I had appeared on television and that I was okay with any role that was offered to me."

Shreekanth laughed " Sir, neenga okay but nobody will offer small roles to you boss. Let me call you back tomorrow and please send me some of your current pics."

Well, the call came and with it came my current role of Arjun in Kalyana parisu.

My only grouse was that again I was saddled with two wives and I thought " The world must think something wrong about me and the way I look."

I whispered to the world " Unga judgement romba thappu. Naa oru dummy pieceu."

Anyway, my friends. Here I am with you all and back again as a tv actor and with how it started in 2006 with Muhurtham. 12 years and counting and many pages and posts later, we are all still here, standing, fighting and ready to take on life and its situations.

My dear friends, Spain, Maghu, Durga and you, the forum moderators, I give you my love, wishes, and prayers and wish all of you and your families A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Honestly, all this 2018,19 are all numbers but still they do have a slight senti effect on our daily lives.

Time, Life, living, loving cannot be measured by numbers, years and decades but only by the experiences and the emotions that we feel when we are in that moment or part of our journey through this life.

Ennada, satish marubadiyum marathu mela era pora pola thonutha. Ille.

It does not matter, the years and what matters is how you have lived it.

Thank you all for your friendship and attention and please stay safe today.

Good morning. I wish you a beautiful day.

I wanted to share with you a quote that says it all .

"There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning."Louis L'Amour

We see, we know of souls who have everything and still feel they have nothing and others who have nothing and yearn for everything.

This is the drama of life and we the actors get to don both those roles once, and, maybe many a time in our lives. But, remember that all life is a stage and we are just actors along with other actors and are here just to do justice to our roles and characters that are given to us.

Become the actor and dive into the character but remember always that it is just a role and remember that you are acting. Keep a part of you, a pure and precious part of your soul and thoughts separated from all the drama and tell yourself that.

That part that you keep separated is your conscience, best friend and the one you should trust when you have no one to trust or talk to. God bless all of us.

Redemption 294

Prime minister Jagannath Mishra, General. Veer Singh and Major Param watched silently with bated breath wondering as to what Rudran was going to reveal to them from New York.

All three looked at each other and the Prime minister gave a knowing look at General veer, who mouthed " I counted Eight and I hope that will be the tally for tonight sir."

Rudran's voice made them jump out of their seats for he whispered back " Sorry General but I forgot to mention the other Eight African American thugs in Harlem that I killed earlier this evening along with the three Russians who were their partners in crime."

He punched the numbers into the large keypad and looked at all of them with a sorry expression " Gentlemen, sir, please don't get upset for I have to add yesterdays total to today's dead."

Major Param hurriedly " Those dead Latin Americans and those dead Russians in that high-end Manhattan brothel, that was you Rudran. It was you who killed them all. But why Rudy?"

Rudran smiled and casually shrugged his shoulders " They were neither forthcoming nor honest in the conversation they had with me and honestly, it was they that tried attacking me and ended up dead.

Prime Minister Mishra trusted Rudran more than anybody and yet even he was mystified by all these killings that his man was leaving behind in his trail and asked " Rudran, Knowing you pretty well, I and the others are sure that there is a perfectly valid reason for your actions. Could you please share with us as to your presence in New York while you should be with your wife in London celebrating your honeymoon."

The doors opened and the bright lights of the interior shone on Rudran's handsomely sculpted face and they all looked at his glittering angry eyes and listened as he replied to his boss " sir, these were thugs, criminals who were making money of girls of a tender age. And add to that drugs and other vices and you will then maybe understand why I think they are better off dead than alive."

All three had daughters and the prime minister who had met Rudran when he had been a defense minister remembered how his granddaughter had been rescued from drugs and the clutches of the men who dealt with them and he spoke in a strong and menacing tone " Rudy beta, these scum who live off others and who deal with children don't deserve any justice and they got what was coming to them. But how did all this even begin in the first place and you still haven't told us why you are there in New York."

Rudran walked quickly closing the door behind him and went down the stairs to the Basement and going up to a wall pointed the camera towards it and whispered " These are the reasons" and the prime minister and the other two saw with their own eyes the paintings that had created mass hysteria all over the world and heightening the beliefs that Extra-terrestrial life did exist and had existed long before life existed on this planet.

General. Veer Singh looked at the paintings and asked Rudran " Rudy, what do those paintings have to do with you? They are paintings from the 13th century and maybe just somebody's wild imagination. Moreover, who knows if they are real or just superb fakes."

Rudran turned the phone and facing the camera replied " I made a promise to a very dear friend that I would get these paintings back for him and his family since they belong to them originally and had been lost and destroyed for all these hundreds of years."

Three looked at One and Prime Minister Mishra in a voice tinged and toned with confusion, curiosity and reluctance asked the question for its answer would shed light on the current conversation they were having " Rudran beta, agreed that those paintings belong to someone else and you are getting them back for them. But, why bring us into this private agenda of yours and why call us and reveal all this to us?"

Rudran looked away for a few seconds and then looked at his wristwatch and faced the camera and the question that had been put by his boss, the Prime minister of India and explained his actions to him and to the others.

Redemption 295

" Rudran beta agreed that those paintings belong to somebody you know and that you are retreiving them for those very same friends. But, why bring us into this private agenda of yours and why call us and reveal all this to us?"

The Prime Minister of India and his Boss to whom Rudran reported directly in certain matters placed this question and then asked again " Rudran, I have known you for some years now and I know pretty well what your priorities in life are for yourself and they are all about others and life in general. So, even this private agenda of yours has some public agenda and that is why you have made this call."

Rudran looked at him straight in the eye " True sir. But this private mission of mine became public and that too concerning our nation only after I saw all that is hoarded here in this mansion of the Russian Mafia."

He turned the camera away and back in New Delhi they all saw with their own eyes all the art that was under one roof and then Rudran's voice filled the video " Sir, you can see for yourself all the expensive paintings and other stolen art that dates back Millenium and all this ill-gotten wealth has come from dealing with drugs, prostitution, and arms."

General Veer Singh worriedly " Rudran, you know very well how close we are with Russia. Just stop and think as to what their reaction will be when they find out that we are involved in all this. Please remember that all this wealth and the men you have killed traces its way back to the top of the Russian government. Think of the heat and weight they will bring on us if they find out about you and our involvement in all this."

Rudran smiled and shook his head " Exactly sir, only if they find out and they will never find out for I have devised a plan."

He addressed the Prime minister " Sir, I need your blessing in this matter and your direct permission to handle this in my own way. I will go ahead with my plan only if you say yes and command me to go on or I will leave this place right now with the paintings I came for and will be back in London tomorrow."

Prime Minister Jagganath Mishra looked at Rudran and thought at the same time and then said " Rudran, I trust you more than myself and more than even these two honest gentlemen here. You have my blessings and permission to go ahead with what you have planned. My only request is that you come back safe and come back soon."

Rudran nodded and then felt the vibrations above him from the road and knew that Dr.Otto Hauptmann had arrived with his team and that meant work and quickly.

He looked at the Prime Minister " Sir, thank you for trusting me and I promise I will not let you and our country down. Not now and not ever. Jai Hind. Good day sir and good day gentlemen."

Ending the call, Rudran ran up the stairs and opened the door and stepped outside and saw Dr.Otto and his men standing around the giant Boris Vanya's body and looking at him in awe and then hearing him come out looked up and one Mossad agent asked tentatively " This man, this giant. How did he die for there are no visible injuries on him? Was he poisoned or did he suffer a cardiac arrest or a heart attack?"

Rudran very casually said " Nothing like that. We fought and I hit him a couple of times and he died. That's it."

Looking down at the dead Boris, Rudran sadly " Honestly, I thought he was going to be a real tough cookie to handle but turned out to be a real wimp of a fighter."

Dr.Otto knelt down and examined the huge Boris's body which was still warm to the touch and seeing the discoloration on his throat, took a close look at his neck region and then looked up at Rudran " What happened to his neck? Did you try choking him or something?"

Rudran shrugged his shoulders in a very casual manner " No, just lifted him off his feet and held him off the ground before chucking him away."

The 12 Mossad man and their leader Dr.Otto all hurriedly stepped back from Rudran and the dead body and looked at each other and mumbled in Hebrew " Devil, Satan" and Rudran smiled and said " sorry people but as of now my passport states that my name is Mr.Azrail Binyamin."

The Immigration officer, Jennifer Higgins stood up and handed back the passport to the man and softly asked ' If I may so, could you tell me the meaning of your name Mr.Azrail?'

The man put out his hand and Jennifer automatically took it and felt an incredible sense of emotion as it was held by the tall and handsome man who leaned forward ' The name Azrail in Jewish means ' Angel of death.'

"when life goes down, don't worry. Sometimes you have to go down to learn the things that are down Ernest Agyemang Yeboah

Raman entered the room that had been given to him and shutting it behind him leaned against the door with his eyes closed. The events over the past few days had begun to test even his deep reservoirs of energy and drive and the chance meeting with his sworn enemy had left him drained of his normal emotions and had instead left him breathing like a fire dragon.

Raman had felt like strangling Vaidyanathan and beating him down to the size of a pulp and just the thought of that action sent his heart racing and a mighty bolt of energy coursing through his limbs.

But the calm voice of his Sensei and former DGP of Tamil Nadu Police Devarajan soothed his anger and whispered him to be cautious and Raman remembered the finals of the state judo championship when he had nearly lost it and it had been the calm advice of his master that had won him the tournament.

Raman had blazed through the early rounds finding little resistance until the finals where he had faced a much older man, smaller than him in strength and size and yet the first round had been tough and Raman had lost it.

Devarajan looked at him and had said: " Raman, you know you are stronger than him, larger than him and much better than him technique wise but why did he win the round?"

Raman breathing heavily had shaken his head in confusion and shame and Devarajan had continued " You thought that he would be a pushover and an easy opponent and in your anxiety to win your first state tournament you underestimated him and disrespected him. So, take your time and let him come to you and then make your move. Slow down, calm down and remember one step, one move at a time."

Raman had entered the ring and then his training and meditation took over and he had slowed the whole bout down to a snail's pace in his mind and this had done the trick. The older opponent had tried to tackle him and throw Raman over his shoulder and Raman had given in and instead of landing on his back, fell like a cat on his feet and had then tackled the man to the ground and after that, there had been no stopping him.

Stripping he entered the glass cubicle and turning the shower knob gasped in shock for the water that raced out of the shower was that cold and Raman hurriedly turned the hot water knob and balanced both to a warm and soothing temperature.

He stood for a long time under the shower and then toweling himself, slipped into a soft linen pant and a full neck tee and called Chennai.

Jeeva answered on the fifth ring with " Hi sweetie! How are you and Kavita doing?"

Raman's heart swelled with pride and respect for his wife for she had not only enquired about him but about Kavita too and he said " You really are a great soul my beautiful wife for you care for everything and everyone."

Jeeva giggled " Well, I have to confess that my husband is also a great teacher and guide and it is he who has spoilt me thus with all these good virtues."

Raman teased her " Enna madam, You have forgotten me so quickly."

Jeeva angrily " What? why would you ask such an idiotic question?"

Raman did not let go and decided to tease her even more " I am here in Delhi thinking that you will be sitting and waiting for my call and yet you only pick it up and answer after many a ring. Pretty slow it seems."

Jeeva replied " Just two legs boss but it is carrying two lives and I was in the kitchen helping both the old ladies who are threatening to throw a party for the whole neighborhood."

He did not understand what she had just said but it came to him quickly enough " Honestly Jeeva" and she replied, " Yes hero, felt it earlier today and got it confirmed just a few hours back."

Without any hesitation, he said " If it is a girl we will call it Suja" and Jeeva without any hesitation " if it is a boy then we will call him Vijay, Vijay Bhaskar."

" Not until I come back for I do not want to miss any party and good food. So tell both the old ladies to hang on to their skirts and we will be back tomorrow."

Long after the call had ended, he sat drowning in happiness from the news about Jeeva being pregnant and slowly laid his head on the pillow and drifted off into a deep and uninterrupted sleep and the time was 5.30 pm.
