Some songs I discovered during these weeks.

Should start bookmarking songs when I come across them. There was a Mal marriage film song I had come across, and also a Tamil film song an old woman is singing with a bunch of villagers on a beach side. I think it was moaning a death or hard life it's those native songs types where it's not some slow song.

.The guy is Sivakarthikeyan and girl,Keerthi Suresh.The movie should be Rajini Murugan.

Hey KK, Hope everything is good in your end. Btw, the Tamil film song with old lady in beach, is it Jilla vittu ? But the song quite slow.

Also I remember some other song that mentioned in which group dancers wear saree with trainers .I am raking my brains, couldn't recollect either of them

Yes, it is indeed the movie Vikram's Kasi was remade from. Never watched either, though.

That other song, it's a song I used to be obsessed with. I can't believe can't find it now. I can picture the whole video in my head. It featured a famous Tamil dancer. Music director was in the video too. Ahhh, can't remember the names. Music director was a light skinned guy...had an Anglo name. Not sure about dancer, he was a dark guy... not Lawrence. Anyway, it wasn't really the music director's composition, but he takes the credit. In the middle of the song, his name is mentioned and in the video he is shown in the recording studio when his name comes up making a record scratching gesture too. 😆 I think he retained the Sri Lankan singer though. There's a Sinhalese verison of the song too don't know if the original was first SL Tamil or Sinhalese, but it was a hit first in SL. Video starts with shots of some guys holding up a CD cover, saying Vanakam and some other stuff.

Jilla Vittu, yeah it's slow, I meant slow in the sense that it's a traditional, indigenous type and not a modern sad slow with string violins and all...

Anyway Jilla Vittu is awesome. Looked up the translation too (for me, Angel and whoever else may be lurking)

The movie is the remake of that Taxi movie with Nana Patekar & John Abraham.The dancer/choreo is Shobi Paulraj & MD is Vijay Antony.Never knew about the Srilankan association ,but yeah Vijay Antony directly lifts songs .Good that he has started acting in movies now :P.Though I admit some of his songs are catchy.

So the other song was Jilla Vittu? I was kind of obsessed with that song when it released.Actually the entire album was quite good.And I think dancer in this Dinesh who got NA for Aadukalam.

And yes,there seems to be slight resemblance between Azhagiya Asura and that Mahesh Babu song.
