Vijay's common link in both Velayudham and Thalaiv

Abhimanyu Singh was one of the villains in Vijay's 2011 superhero movie Velayudham. Singh is also pretty popular in Telugu cinema thanks to blockbusters like Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh.

Now, looks like the menacing Abhimanyu would be a part of Vijay's Thalaivaa as well. He would play a negative role yet again and would be hoping to repeat his earlier success with Vijay.

The shoots of Thalaivaa have been progressing at a brisk clip in Mumbai and the team also plans to can some important scenes in Spain in the coming months.
