Big B to shake a leg this IPL!

The buzz is that the actor is likely to perform for choreographer Shaimak's segment in the show

The city is gearing up to witness one of the most glitzy performances this year as celebrities from Kollywood, Bollywood and Hollywood come together for the grand IPL opening ceremony on April 3. The latest we hear is that Bollywood choreographer Shiamak Davar has already started putting together his show, which will feature top artists. The buzz is that Amitabh Bachchan, who is part of the IPL opening ceremony, will shake a leg for Shiamak's show. Interestingly, the ace choreographer has already worked with Big B on some of his films including Aladdin, and has even choreographed his act in a world tour.
While Shiamak refuses to divulge any details, he says, "You will be in for a surprise as a legend will perform live. I'm excited to be choreographing the act."
He adds, "I'm putting together an assortment of songs from different languages and each song is something that the audience will relate to, get inspired and enjoy." So will we hear and see Mr B doing a Kolaveri Di or a Kajra Re? And as for Priyanka Chopra, it seems she's busy working on a couple of concepts, and will zero in on her final act shortly.

We've told you that Amitabh Bachchan is hosting the opening ceremony of the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League, in Chennai on April 3. What we haven't told you is that the Big B will be a dancing host, with choreographer Shiamak Davar having put together his show. While refusing to divulge the details, Shiamak did tell us that "You will be in for a surprise as a legend will perform live. I'm excited to be choreographing the act. With Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor being the latest addition to the list of performers, looks like sparks will fly at the IPL. "While Salman Khan and Priyanka had already been roped in, Kareena has come as a last minute added attraction," a source informed, "However, all has never been well between Kareena and Priyanka. While both Kareena and Priyanka are professional about it, it will be interesting to see how the two of them fight it out for their respective performance to gain an upper hand."
