Vetrimaran to produce Desiya Nedunchalai
Director Vetrimaran has written a story said to be his first, but he could not make it into a film for some reasons.He has now decided to produce a film based on his story. He has chosen his assistant and friend Mani to direct the film titled 'Desiya Nedunchalai'.
Keeping his first story aside, Vetrimaran hasdirected 'Polladavan' and then the national award winning film 'Aadukalam', both turned out to be successful. According to Mani, actor Siddharth will play the lead role, while a new face, Arshita, will be the heroine. The shooting will begin in the first week of April.
Velraj, who handled the camera for Polladavan has been retained for 'Desiya Nedunchalai'. G.V. Prakash will score the music. Mani says this is Vetrimaran's first story. For some reason, he could not make it into a film. Now, he has decided to produce 'Desiya Nedunchalai' himself. Vetri has written the screenplay too.
