Lajjavathiye makes a comeback

Remember the song Lajjavathiye from 4 the people? The song made it to the top of chartbusters and almost refused to slip down for a long time. Music producer Jassie Gift, the man behind this number, became popular overnight. Twelve years later, this very song is making a comeback of sorts. Debutant director Manoj Manohar's yet-to-be-released film, 4 Shadows, will feature the same song. "Yes, we will be including the song in our movie. The picturisation will be completely different," says the director.
Shot based on a similar storyline, 4 Shadows will take up five prominent criminal cases that shook Kerala over the last few years. It's a revenge story, told through the lives of four young women. "In 4 the people, we saw four men taking control of their own lives. This one will see four women do the same," explains Manoj. Though the film features newcomers in lead roles, actor Thilakan has been roped in to play a prominent character.
