If sources are to be believed, the Suriya versus Vikram rivalry will continue — on the small screen! For, the Raavanan star has been approached by a leading TV channel to host a game show. Suriya started it — he committed to a private TV channel for a game show on the lines of the popular
Kaun Banega Crorepati. And now, a rival TV channel has finalized its version of a game show — a general knowledge-based one that will test the intellect of the participants — and is trying its best to get Vikram to host it. A source says, "The TV channel has been in touch with Vikram for over a month now. They're keen to rope in the actor to do the show, as he's the best choice to compete against Suriya in doing something on similar lines. Considering Vijay might not agree and Ajith doesn't do television shows, they feel that Vikram is the apt choice." Now, the ball is in the actor's court and he's said to be in a fix as to whether he should take up this assignment. Vikram's spokesperson confirms, saying, "He's keen to explore TV but he has his hands full with film right now. There's Thaandavam with director Vijay and his Bollywood flick with Bejoy Nambiar. If he commits to the channel, he'll have to devote a lot of time to it and that might affect his shooting schedules. He's now trying to figure out if there's a way it can be worked out." The actor, who is currently near Mangalore shooting for Bejoy Nambiar's David, was not reachable for comment.
