Vijay Rejected Shankar Idea

Director Shankar wanted Vijay to make a grand entrance during the audio launch of Nanban and has planned a huge cage from which the star was supposed to walk out on the stage. All arrangements for this have been made but when the Ilayathalapathy came to know about it, he rejected it outright.

The star reportedly told Shankar not to go for such a thing as there are two other heroes ' Jiiva and Srikanth ' in the films and they should also get the same treatment. Vijay's humility and importance for his fellow stars has placed him a cut above the others.
