KV Anand's upcoming flick 'Maatraan' is progressing quickly.
The film sees Suriya and Kajal Aggarwal playing the leads. The director recently shot an item number with Isha in the limelight for this song. The actress who wowed all with her performance in the Bollywood film 'Kisna' and her lissome dance moves with Hrithik for a popular ad, has given her best shot in this number, which is sure to become a huge hit with the audience, reveal sources close to the 'Maatraan' team.
Sources reveal that this groovy song with Isha's agile moves was filmed from the AVM Studios in Chennai. This song is also touted to feature the lead pair in the film Suriya and Kajal. Isha is also working with Kamal Haasan in his upcoming film 'Viswaroopam.' The makers have shelled out close to a crore and a half for the sets that had been erected to shoot this song, sources reveal. The sets were created by Rajeevan.
'Maatraan' has music by Harris Jayaraj. With the director roping in Isha for an item number the expectations for the film are steadily mounting. 'Maatraan' is an action movie in the making and has been shot extensively from Russia. The shooting for this film is almost gearing for a wrap up after which the post production works will set off in full swing.
'Maatraan' is touted to hit theatres during the summer of 2012.
