Rajinikanth fans demand wax statue at Tussauds

The Asian superstar Rajinikanth achieves another landmark in his age today and his mega strong 63000 fan club is gearing up to have the superstar's wax statue at Madame Tussads.

Considering the fact that less popular stars have had their wax work done and the phenomenon Rajini is certainly the one who can draw maximum attraction, the momentum is to planned to be spread on line first, later other activities will be chalked out to have the superstars wax work done.

There is also news of Rajinikanth being considered for Padma Vibhushan... This movement is spearheaded by producer S.Ramanathan who made films like 'Geraftaar', 'Bombay To Goa'.

Knowing the truth that the humble Rajinikanth will never vouch for himself and the superstar is a wonderful human being. S.Ramanathan has written to who's and who's of the administration to bestow the Padma Vibhushan on the superstar as he truly deserves all the honour.

We don't know when will the officials come out of dark and realize the power of Rajinikanth.. But we at IG believe him to be the living legend and Gods create people like Rajinikanth only once...

It's the Superstar's birthday today, December 12th, 2011! The star was born in Nochikuppam, Krishnagiri to Jijabai and Ramoji Rao Gaikwad as Sivaji Rao Gaikwad on December 12th, 1949.

He is the youngest of the four siblings. Rajinikanth married Latha in 1981 and has two daughters Aishwarya Dhanush and Soundarya Ashwin.

Rajini's debut film in Tamil was Aboorva Ragangal in which he played a small role. After that, he was seen in several films which were directed by K Balachander who introduced him to the tinsel town. Some of Rajinikanth starrers were 16 Vayathinile, Aarilirunthu Arubathu Varai, Bhairavi, Bhuvana Oru Kelvi Kuri, Naan Mahaan Alla, Yejamaan, Muthu, Chandramukhi, Endhiran, etc.

The Superstar's upcoming film Kocahdaiyaan, directed by his daughter Soundarya, is slated to be released next year.
