No one ever thought that a full-fledged Malayalam track, 'Aaromele' from Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, will ever take the industry by wave in Kollywood. But that's A.R. Rahman! Now the Oscar winning musician is all set to create the magic in Hindi too. It is said that in Ek Deewana Tha (remake of VTV), director Gautham Menon and Rahman has once again roped in Alphonse to render the same track. However earlier Rahman had plans to retain the same track for the Bollywood version but the makers wanted to change the lyrics in Hindi. So now Javed Akthar will pen the Hindi lyrics but the word 'Aaromele' will be retained.
The film, which stars Prateik and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, is all set to grace theatres by early 2012. A different love story, it revolves around a mechanical engineering graduate, passionate about being a film maker and his neighbour, a girl who is a year old than him. The movie is about the trials and tribulations they face in their love.
