Today's episode : So near yet so far
RB & Sunny on way to pick the raw materials. Sunny tries to strike small talk to work on mission RB-SKA-saath -saath. He talks of how he is so happy after marriage and how "there is no life without a wife" . He tells RB that if you have a girl in your life who is your good friend one should convert the friendship into love, etc. Throughout the conversation RB is uncomfortable and keeps staring ahead at the road, his grip on the steering wheel tightening, as his anger grows at Sunny's talk of love and marriage. He finally stops the car and gives it back to sunny and says that I sont need to learn about girls, love and marriage from you. He reminds him that we are here to help with Meeta Di's wedding and that is what they should concentrate on. And that he should just shut up and let him concentrate on the road.
At the Dhillon house works start on the order. P is worried about NA's call and is wondering how she will bring SKA & RB together in the next 2 weeks. Just then Meeta Di comes & says that she is going to make Tandoori Rotis. P gets and idea and tells SKA that she should make Tandoor rotis for RB as he is very fond of them. (P and her silly sure-to-fail cupid ideas!! Poor child!)
RB & Sunny return with the raw materials. SKA rushes to meet them at the door. She excitedly tells RB that she is making tandoor ki roti for him. He says He knows as there is atta on her forehead. SKA tries to wipe it off but cannot as her hands are already smeared in Atta. RB tries to wipe it for her and is reminded of the time when he and P shared a similar moment when he was teaching her to make Muli ke paranthe. (we get the flashback complete with the tumse milke aisa laga song) RB and P share a glance.
P gets excited about the material and mentions that hopefully Jaiswal will like their work. This mention reminds SKA tha she hasn't informed Jaiswal that they want to complete the order and she had cancelled the contract papers. (Wow! What a smart girl!! how could she forget this tiny little detail???!!!) She calls up Jaiswal and we get a long moment of uncertainty, all family also waits on expectantly. SKA informs that Jaiswal is going to give the work to some other designer. Everyone is visibly disappointed, but P is most upset and looks desperate. She says she will speak to Jaiswal and convince him . She says this is no longer just about arranging the money for Meeta's wedding but it is also about their reputation. (Good to know someone is a proffessional!)
SKA tells P to go with RB so that there is no delay in meeting Jaiswal. (brilliant idea!!!) RB-P-Sunny are uncomfortable and P tries to avoid the situation. But everyone insists and in the end P leaves with RB.
Before P leaves, Meeta tells her that she should not beg Jaiswal for the order worrying about the wedding expense. Meeta rushes up crying as she is feeling guilty about putting P through this situation. Ishu joins her and tries to console her. Both the sisters talk about how P has always struggled and never cared about her own life & happiness in trying to arrange for everyone's happiness. They resolve that now they will all get together to ensure P's happiness. Just then Sonu comes and asks Ishu if she can put P's happiness before her own. Just when it looks like Sonu might spill the beans, Sunny ji interrupts them (new definition of kabab mein haddi!!) He makes a some small talk and joke and takes Sonu away. He later tells Sonu that by telling everyone the truth she would have really hurt her Pritto di. Sonu says that she can no longer see P unhappy. Sunny promises that he will make sure that all her sisters are happy but she must keep the secret for a few days. He gets Sonu to promise him on this.
RB & P in the car on way to Jaiswal's place. Both of them are in their own thoughts. RB thinksthat how when earlier P was far from him but was always so close to his heart, and now that she is sitting so close to him she seems so far from his heart. He wishes that he had realised her truth earlier and had never fallen in love with her, that way he would not be experiencing such pain today. On the other hand P thinks that how she cannot share the plight of her heart with the one who is closest to her heart. She wishes that she could share her majboori's and all the truth with him. She recalls that when he was far from her she wanted to bring him close to her, now that he is close to her, she wants to send him far away. She muses that she knows that what she is doing today with him is wrong but also knows that SKA loves him and is his true life partner... She sighs that she cannot tell him any of this as doing that will harm her loved ones.
