I want to tell a interesting incident what my daughter told me few days back.(my daughter name is also Nikhila )
it is good to talk to mother i believe it relieves stress or tension. This is what she read it in paper.
One of the reason i like Preeto serial is what a fine relationship between beeji and children and family and their relationship. They have showed what a understanding mother was Beeji. All the episodes where Beeji reacts with her children shown beautifully in this serial.

Anasuya u have expressed my feelings so perfectly. I too lost my mum when I was a teenager and even today I miss her a lot. I also am a mum of two kids and try to behave with them just as my mom used to with me. Somewhere i think our mums always live in us and we try to give our kids what we got from her...

Nikhila reading ur post made me cry because it back back all the fond memories of the wonderful time I spent with my mom...She was also just like Beeji...always knew when we were happy and when something was troubling us..and was always there as a friend, philosopher and guide when i needed her...

Thanx for the wonderful sentimental post...Loved it...

Nikhila, Anusuya and Mehek,
This is such a poignant post and discussion...brought a lump to my throat too...miss my Mom like crazy ...and so agree with all the thoughts and sentiments expressed here. She does know by just the tone of my voice over the phone if I am worried or sad or happy...and the thousands of miles between us seem not to exist.
I love this serial for the natural manner in which they show Beeji's concerns and thought processes. Neelam Aunty's motivations are natural too...no mother would like her kids to appreciate a friend's family more than their own mother. But sometimes, they take it a little too far. With beeji however, it is all very belieavable and natural.
Thanks Nikhila for this beautiful thread😊, and Anusuya and Mehek, I am sorry for your loss. Am no stranger to the pain a parent's demise brings; lost my father some years back and the pain never really goes away.
