Rajbeer tells Preeto about his past, adn they both say I love you. They talk about being there for eachother for the rest of their lives. Gagandeep gets one month's time to find a new job, and worries how they'll manage now. While thinking he falls down in the middle of the road, and is carried home by some random guys. Getting back home, everyone tries to contact Preeto so that she can bring the doctor, but she has left her phone in the car, and doesn't hear it when being out in the rain with Rajbeer.

Preeto tells Rajbeer to tell her what's bothering him, but he says he's afraid to share but will tell her one day. Preeto tell him that he has to tell her the truth today itself. She holds his hand and tells him if she has the right to share his sorrows? Rajbeer tell her he's allready given her all the rights, and takes her to a park to tell the truth.
In the park, he tells her that if he had to tell what happiness and sorrow was, he would put her family in one place and his in the other. She's very lucky to have such a nice family. He too had a family, a dad, but he never got any love from them. When he was seven, his mother ran away with someone else. Since then he's been hearing badmouthing him and calling him names. He was too young to understand what any of it meant and what his fault was, but grew up without friends or affection. His father got engaged in work, and barely saw his son. He's been grown up by a caretaker. He had no friends until he went to boarding school and met Dhruv and his sister. He wouldn't have reacted had he seen Bani with any other guy, but she was with Ranjeet - the guy he had met at the ballparty as well. He's the only child of the caretaker who raised him, and was always jealous since his mum liked Rajbeer better then him. Ranjeet joined Rajbeer's dad's office later on, and started cheating. When he was caught he tried to kill Rajbeer's dad, for which he went to jail. Now, he met Rajbeer at the ballparty after six years, and started opening hid old wounds. He tells Preeto he's tired of running from his past, as it always catches up on him.
He goes and sit on the bench. He tells her he didn't tell her everything earlier, because he was afraid that she too would make fun of him and leave him, and he doesn't want to loose her. Preeto tells him that people come closer when sharing sorrows. The person she thought was different from the whole world, thought she was just like the rest of the world, he thought I would leave him? She tells him her family's chipko type, once they get attached to someone, they don't leave them for the rest of their life. Both start crying and they hug. Preeto tries to console Rajbeer and tells him to give life another chance. Try loving someone again, making someone yours and see what life gives you. Life doesn't give you sorrows only, it gives you opportunities as well. He tells her he doesn't want an opportunity in life, he won't his life itself. Preeto wipes his tears and tells him to meet his life smiling :) Life will never come to him if he continues crying, it will become mad. Rajbeer stands up and tells her he'll pacify it. Preeto says his life wants to say something to him, and he says he too wants to say something to his life. Both of them say I love you at the same time. Rajbeer says that's why he doesn't understand love, as anything happens anytime. They hug again, this time smiling.
They wipe eachother's tears, and Preeto tells him that afterall the stone did melt. Rajbeer tells her not to call herself a stone. She retorts that she was talking about him, as he didn't want to get into love and all. He says that even she said she didn't have time for love. Preeto says she's a girl, and that's how girls are. Rajbeer says that boys are naive, to which Preeto asks if he wants to fight again? Rajbeer tells her he'll fight with her for the rest of their life, but never let her go away from him. He asks her to promise to stay with him forever, for the next seven lives. Preeto promises for this life only, and tells him he'll have to do a little more to get her in his next lives too. He goes to her and tell her he'll do everything she says, he's ready to do anything for her. Preeto says she'll do anything he doesn't say as well, she loves him so much. Rajbeer tells her he still can't believe he's got her by his side now, his life hasn't given him that much happiness before. Preeto says she too can't believe that such a tall guy can cry like a little baby. Those who love don't cry, they smile. She tell him to keep smiling hereafter, and not look back at his past. He tells him he doesn't have to do that now, as she's infront of him. It starts raining, and they both stand there enjoying the rain. At the sound of thunder Preeto runs and hugs Rajbeer.
At home, Beeji too gets afraid hearing the lightening and drops a thaal. She gets afraid, and prays to God to keep everything safe.
Gagandeep goes to his boss, and gets to know the hotel's been sold and that it will become a shopping mall instead. He gives Gagandeep a month's notice to find a new job. Gagandeep tries telling him that his daughter's wedding's coming up in two weeks, and he's already taken up a loan in the bank. How will he pay for everything wihtout a job? The boss says he understands, but there's not much he can do.
Preeto and Rajbeer go to a tea stall, and have tea with jaggery instead of sugar. Rajbeer drinks it and says it's good. Preeto says he'll like it even better if he drinks it in a special way. Rajbeer thinks she looks funny, but tries anyways. Preeto tells him that life's just like a cup of tea. Just like there's a different feel about every sip, there's a different way to live every moment in life. They get some bicuits and sit there and finish their tea. The rain stops and they leave.
Gagandeep's on his way home walking on the road, when he holds his chest and feels uneasy. He falls down infront of a car, and people gather to pick him up. He's bleeding from his forehead, and have a hard time getting up.
Preeto goes to sit and the car, but Rajbeer suggests they walk as it's just a nice weather. Preeto agrees. She gets a phone call from a customer, and Rajbeer tells her to leave her bag and phone in the car so that nothing disturbs them. He holds her around her shoulder and brings her closer.
At home, the girls are looking at stuff for the wedding. Bani's still mad for Rajbeer (an outsider)'s interference in her life. The door bell rings and Ishu goes to open it. She sees her dad in a very bad state, leaning on two guys. The guys tell the family what's happened, and that they were taking him to the doctor but he refused so they brought him there. Meeta tries to call the doctor, but can't find his number. Beeji tells her to call Preeto and tell her to bring the doctor with her. Meeta tries calling Preeto but no one picks up. Preeto's phone shown rinign in the car, while Rajbeer and Preeto are enjoying the rain outside.
