we all know that preeto belongs to sodi family that means sikh familt
then according to sikh religon...karvachauth 's fast nahi rakhna chahiye tha...
this is according to our sikh religon...

i know we all love rajbeer and preeto's romance on karvachauth's occasion ...

U are right but I guess because it is a serial and they need to get Trp s they take some poetic license and twist the story around. As it is just fiction we need not get upset or offended. Dont mean to offend anyone with my view😊

really? yea then you are right. they shouldnt have shown that. they should ahve just shown diwali festival. it would have been more fun.

Perhaps Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar can give an answer to this. They were the ones to bring Karvachauth to the big screen with DDLJ et al. And if I remember right DDLJ is based on a punjabi family living in London.

Fiction shows and movies they show many a things though not related...its all for trps jus watch it for enjoyment..😃

I am from Punjab basically, so many punjabi families keeping this fast. i dont think so there is any problem. Even my best friend is from Sodi family but she keeps this fast.

I was actually thinking about the same thing, considering they're sikhs. But some sikh's do celebrate it more as a traditional thing then religious.. And if they live in an area with other hindu's, it might not be that weird.. :)
PS: Dhillon family, not Sodi family ;)

Sikhs celebrate Karwachauth. As Deep said, its more a trditional then reiligous.

And not every Sikh follows the rules either. I think its cute!
